1. Israels greatest strength lies in its people.
Al   (01.23.11)
Every segment of the Jewish population must be harnessed and empowered to participate in this great miracle. Technology, Innovation and Invention will propel Israel to become a top world economy. No child should be able to finish HS without the core subjects of HEBREW, MATH, ENGLISH and PHYSICS. Israel is on a rise and rising fast.
2. 1Al Your TBs are one of the smartest
ORA ,   Jerusalem   (01.23.11)
and above all one of the most positive here on Ynet. Therefore i wonder why you did not include Tora study, which is uncontournable if we want Israel to stay Jewish.
3. #2 I am a graduate of a Yeshiva
Al   (01.23.11)
Of course when I graduated the idea of a secular education was not a dirty word. Amongst the subjects I wrote final HS leaving Exams were Trig, Algebra Geometry Functions, Chemistry Physics, French and English. Of course having been in a Yeshiva for 10 years didnt hurt either. From there I went on to University without breaking a sweat. The point being the most potentially successful segment of your population is the Yeshiva taught youth. In my time the Rabbis were geniuses, today they are imbeciles for not promoting a secular education. Its as if they want to impoverish an entire generation of religious Jews. That is not Yiddishkeit! That is why I will only support those Yeshivas which include a vigorous secular education as well as Judaic Studies.

5. Fantastic Program
HannahS ,   Tel Aviv   (01.25.11)
These are the programs that Israel needs, helping unemployed people find work in Israel's fastest growing industry. This is a great find.
6. 100% pure, whole, natural herbal hogwash.
Andrew ,   צרפת   (01.26.11)
- Beside Livni and Zoabi, nobody needs empowering by : "resume writing, interview preparation, how to search for a job and their rights as women". - TA junkies will snub it, because : "The course is free but IT Works requires a deposit, which is given back in full as soon as participants secure a job." - There in LA, what kind of mood-improvement medication are they actually taking ? It seems way more potent then Ritalin...
7. Empowering everyone is the only valid goal.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.27.11)
There is no excuse for using charitable funds, designed to help everyone, to create courses aimed specifically at one sigment of the population. Everyone who donates to the charities involved should make it clear such discrimination is unacceptable. This is one of the pitfalls of donating to large communal charities. You have no control over how leftists, who usually control such charities, misuse your donations. Much more good can be accomplished by donating to smaller, more accountable charities.
8. I agree w/ #6. ALL the interviews I've been on want u to
(01.27.11)
have a university degree or college degree from a well known institution of higher education. These "empower courses" are bull.
9. Not bull at all
