1. Peretz praises Livni.
Spencer ,   Israel   (01.18.11)
Birds of a feather....need one look for any more proof of the worhlessness of these two? Both have done only damage to Israel.
2. Early election is needed now
Rachel ,   T.A   (01.18.11)
This nonsense can't be allowed to go on in a democratic state Israel.
3. Peretz the Putz
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (01.18.11)
Peretz the Putz critizes Barak for splitting with the Labour party, yet we read here and in the press he is looking to join Kadima, which if he does will mean the end of Kadima as well. Labour, Meretz and the rest of the left wing parties are dead or dieing. Nice to see
4. Those who wish for early elections are dreaming
Norman   (01.18.11)
Labor probably is dead. Same with Baraks new party. Biggest winner is probably Netanyahoo. It is becoming painfully clear that the parties in Israel are there for themselfs.
5. Let's remember Rabin legacy: 1) Jerusalem must remain united
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.18.11)
under Israel's sovereignty and will also include Giv'at Zeev and Ma'aleh Adumim. 2) All major settlement blocs will become part of sovereign Israel. 3) The Jordan Valley must be viewed in the widest sense of the word and will remain under Israel's rule. 4) A future Palestinian state will not be a regular state, e.g. it will be demilitarized, its air space will be controlled by Israel, its border passes - land, sea and air - will be under the control of Israel. (Pronounced in a speech by Rabin in the Knesset in October 1995). Rabin was dubbed a Prince of Peace the world over, and indeed he sought peace with the Arabs, along with a sense of pragmatism and Jewish patriotism. I don't think these "leaders" have any trace of Rabin's fiber...!!
6. "New Labor"?!?!? All I see are the same old alte kackers
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.18.11)
Aren't there any new, young, talented and capable dynamic social democrats in the party? Or are we going to be subjected to the same old same? I see the "old Labor" - show us voters some new blood and a new agenda that has "peace camp" as not the only issue on the list.
7. 'We are the new Labor.' Same old losers.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.18.11)
8. if Peretz is back Labor is doomed
zionist forever   (01.18.11)
Can you imagine what it would be like if Labor won the next election and we had Peretz as defense minister or even PM? I think Peretz would be the only man who would stay in the country. If Labor know whats good for them they will drop Peretz & his far left buddies. send them to Meretz the party for left wing losers.
