I thought racism had been copyrighted by America, and nobody else could use that term to describe differences of opinion that are promoted as hate so as to attract viewers in the various media, which by the way sells advertising as a result. I guess I didn't get the memo that Israel had bought into this lie. Not everyone hates the Arabs. It's just that they have tried so many times for such a long time to wipe Israel off the face of the map and have failed that either one must laugh at them or feel sorry for them. Others, however, choose hatred as a form of expression, but that's not everyone. And anyway, there is only one race actually, which is the human race. Ah the media, they sure keep people arguing don't they. And guess who pays for that - the kids. Not just Jewish kids, Israeli kids, or Arab kids - but all kids suffer when adults play these stupid games.

There have always been young students saying "death to Arabs" or a "good Arab is a dead Arab". These are very, very old sentences - I heard them 20 years ago, at least . There will always be young minds that say things they truly don't understand at that age. It isn't right and it should be corrected....ironically through education. Controversial topics should not be avoided - they should be spoken about and dealt with. Ultimately, nothing new here.

What are they to think when they know from young that they are headed into the defence service to help protect the country from Arabs. They are more in touch with reality than the leftists. The Israeli children are learning from the ground while the Pals children are deliberately brainwashed / groomed in the classroom, via TV programs and the example of their elders to hate Jews. There is no attempt to teach otherwise. This situation is not surprising at all. Why should anyone be shocked!

Do not jump to conclusion as this will solve nothing. Learn from first principles, find out what bothers the young ones and discuss (not dictate) how things can be made better. Is that those same kids go home and turn on the radio, TV or internet and are bombarded every single day with thousands of messages from the Arabs how they are going to kill and rape and pillage the Jews. I'm lost. The Arabs are crying racism, yet they are amongst some of the most racist and hateful people in this world. Are they saying it's acceptable for them to be racist towards blacks and darker skinned Arabs (although most look like light skinned African Americans) and others must respect them? So sad, sounds suspect to me.

Sady, I would argue that one could make the same statement about children growing up and attending school in Gaza. Assuming that both Israeli and Palestinian children are growing up with such sentimens, any likelihood of peace in this region is laughable., Particularly given the fact that the Israeli stand has consistenly been "peace on our terms or no peace at all."
