1. Israel is booming,,Those who want to work are working
Al   (01.21.11)
If Isreal was doing poorly would you have 10's of 1000's of illegals living there and working there? Would you have 30K illegals from Africa risking their lives try to gate crash you? If Israel is doing so poorly would you have over 1.5 Miliion Arabs insisting on staying in an Israel instead of going to live amongst their 'brethern' in the 23 other Arab countries? Answer these questions...The point is that the bitch factor in Israel is big. Get over your sense of entitlement, roll up you sleaves, get a decent education and reap the rewards that are coming your way. Along with the above a thanks to G-d would be appreciated by the holy one above. Good Shabbos to All.

4. #1 A QUESTION TO AL
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.21.11)
Dear Al ,If life is so rosy in Israel ,why do you not choose to live here .? it is easy ,and meaningless ,to be an armchair zionist in C.C..C.C.....ANADA.
5. 3#,4#, Al did live here
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (01.22.11)
Larry, I have read most of Al's emails. Al, did live here and he soon plans to leave Montreal and move back to Israel. Also Al's two sons live in Israel. So he is not just "an armchair Zionist'. Shabbat Shalom
6. Unemployment Rate
Miriam Woelke ,   Tveryia   (01.22.11)
Another hotel, the ARBEL HOTEL, in Tiberias just closed down. We all know that it is not easy to find a new job in Tiberias. Almost impossible. The same in the nearby Zfat. Maybe the unemployment rate in the center shrunk but definitely not in the north. No industry, no nothing and less shpos downtown Tiberias.
7. #6 Miriam - Some hotels deserve to close
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
Arbel was one of them Frankly, any tourist that took the bother to check it out would have avoided it like the plague "“Nothing Special” Date of review: Jan 2, 2009 You don't get much for your shekel when it comes to hotels in Israel, and this is a good example. Nothing really to recommend it. It's not particularly well cared for. It's not close to anything. It doesn't have a view. The food wasn't anything special. There was garbage overflowing from a large bin next door with cats scavenging through..".
8. What a load of bollox
Daria ,   Israel   (01.24.11)
The unemployment rates are taken directly from the employment office, where people are only allowed to show up and sign in the dole queue for a limited period, and after they're no longer allegeble for unemployment fees, they stop signing and drop out of the statistics. Then take all these people who weren't allegeble to begin with, and those who don't use the services of the unemployment office to find work (because they don't offer anything) but rather seek work via private agencies or in the ads. They too don't fall into the statistics. Then take all the "voluntarily unemployed" parasites, and add them up and you'll find out that the unemployment here must be at least as high as it is in Spain.
