1. In the past Israel gave up Gaza for the Palestinian state
DreamWork   (01.22.11)
but the Palestinian did not take it up. They taught they could kick the Israeli into the sea.
2. Big deal...
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (01.22.11)
The Palestinians have been dodging peace deals since World War 1. And now they complain that we are doing it.
3. Yeah, but but but
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.22.11)
the ersatz "Palestinians" turned down the offer of 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. Oops! BIG mistake, but that's sort of an ersatz "Palestinian" specialty. Sorry, but the offer left the table when the response to Israel's offer was the second intifada. Just another stupid feather in the seventy-year-old ersatz "Palestinian" cap. There's a better way, but the ersatz "Palestinians" need to find it on their own. In the meantime -- well, Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish State of Israel. Live with that .... or don't. Personally, I no longer care what the ersatz "Palestinians" think. They are entirely irrelevant. You'd think by now they'd have figured that out, but evidently they haven't. Oh well.
4. ISRAEL
Salman   (01.22.11)
Keep patience and strength until King of Jordan is kicked away. 3 time more Pals are leaving there, later or sooner they will claim Jordan for their own country.
5. # Sarah , The REUNITED eternal Capital
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.22.11)
"palestinians" Always missed all opportunities to reach a peace deal . They , or their "brethren" , always attacked us . Now they think that engaging in a war has no consequences when you lose . The loser has to pay a price .
6. Sarah
Dan ,   hollywood, usa   (01.22.11)
Right on!
7. I agree with #4 Salman
Rachel ,   US   (01.22.11)
The fall of the Hashemite Kingdom is a matter of time. Just wait for that to happen and the Pals will have their state.

9. Abbas, as Arafat before him, and as numerous...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.22.11)
...Muslim-Arab leaders before them, rejected a peace offer out right. He did so for a simple reason: Israel demanded, and rightly so, that the Muslim-Arabs accept Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people and that any peace treaty will be viewed by them as the end of the conflict and the end of all demands that they may presently have. The refusal of these simple requirements, and the pattern of rejections by the Muslim-Arabs, going back to 1917, is indicative that what they want is not peace but the gradual elimination of Israel whose RIGHT to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people they refuse to accept.

Jerusalem was never the capital of any arab nation. It has been always the holy city and the capital of the jewish state. Palestine never existed and it doesn't exists yet.
16. Please clarify for me...
dshap ,   Miami, USA   (01.22.11)
I am just a simple minded Jew from Miami, so I was hoping you could clear up a few questions for me. You see, I've been trying to do some research on the internet and there seems to be scant data available to the following questions; Prior to 1967: 1) Who was the Palestinian PM, President or King? 2) What was the Palestinian system of government? 3) What was the Palestinian Currency? 4) What was the Palestinian economy? Industrial? Agriculture? Technology? Something else? 5) Who were the founding fathers of the Palestinian Government? 6) When was the Palestinian Constitution written? Who signed it? 7) Was there a Palestinian Congress, Senate, parliament? I look forward to your reply as I'm really trying to determine who stole or is trying to steal what and from whom...

like arafat the arab leaders lie and make history up as they want to fit there self absorbed evil agendas.
20. OLD NEWS,with missing facts
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.22.11)
What Abbas left out is the details, as they say the "the devil is in the details". What was left out is this, Israel accepted the 67 borders a "basis" for the negotiations. As we all know there was a land swap involved that Abbas fails to mention. He rejected. In addition while accepting E.J. as the capital it would NOT have been with the Arabs in full control of the area, because they can't be trusted with the security aspects. It is typical of the Arab leaders to only remember and recite what they agree with and ignore what they feel is unacceptable. In order to make true agreements they have to be with stable governments. It only makes sense when you think about. Because whatever you agree to must transfer to the new leadership of the country. So the peace deals Israel signed with Jordan and Egypt have held up because the as the leadership changed they honored the past agreements made by the previous administration. But this doesn't exist now among the Arabs who want to form a new country called Palestine, does it? Fatah and Hamas are in a civil war as I write this. Hamas is on record as stating they will not honor any agreements and is dedicated to wiping Israel off the map. Is Fatah strong enough to enforce it's will if they reach agreement? When they couldn't hold on to Gaza?
21. There has never been an agreement; there was only an offer,
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.22.11)
one rejected by Mahmoud Abbas, as reported in May 2009 in the Washington Post. To come now and to tell the world that there was an agreement is a lie, one from which pieces of fabrics of lies are made by the Muslim-Arabs, stitched together into large fabrics of fabrications called "narratives". It is time rational people around the world open their eyes and ears and ceased being deceived by those who speak from both sides of their mouths!!
22. Sarah @ 10
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.22.11)
Accepted , but better use a tongue you know [ google translation ? ]
23. Show us that "Agreement" [EOM]
Iris ,   USA   (01.22.11)
24. agreements agreements agreements
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.22.11)
All the supposed agreements Abbas claims exist yet no one - not even he - can provide any proof or copies. Just more Islamist BS. Lies like that are more common on Muslim media like Haaretz
25. Abbas, some balance please!!! And what did the PA offer,
Harry Wright ,   UK   (01.22.11)
in return? Do tell us. And while you are at it, who were present when that agreement was made and where was it recorded. If an agreement was made it must have been reported in some newspaper. I would like to read it again. Or maybe that was an offer in the souk and not an agreement.
26. To: Charles at No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.22.11)
That would be cheating, mon cher. I don't cheat. Ever. But again, I do apologize for my truly fractured French! It came from my heart, and I hope you will accept it as such.
27. #13 Salma, someone's calling you at #16.

30. To: No. 28
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.22.11)
So answer the questions, Salma. C'mon, we're waiting. I mean .... you can answer them, can't you? Or are you just a typical, cheesy, ersatz "Palestinian" fraud. Like I said .... put up or shut up.
