1. Salma western intelligence know what happened, therefore
no condemnation   (01.23.11)
2. Time for inquiry into Hamas terrorism
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.23.11)
It's time for the UN to have a commission of inquiry into Hamas terrorism. Hamas is the elected government of the Palestinians, and is on record as supporting and sponsoring terrrorist attacks that have killed not just Israelis, but many foreign nationals as well. Time to determine if charges should be levied against Hamas leaders, and they should stand trial for their crimes against humanity. Don't take my word for it: it was Amnesty Intl who said: "Whether or not attacks [by Palestinians] actually result in civilian casualties, they are in violation of international law, which also prohibits attacks aimed at spreading terror among the civilian population. The patterns of attacks and statements by members and leaders of Palestinian groups also indicate that they have no qualms about launching attacks against civilians and that they in fact carry out such attacks intending to kill and injure Israeli civilians. Such attacks constitute war crimes." Amnesty International
3. WOW! how shocking! israeli committee NOT condemning israel!
Marwan ,   Amman, Jordan   (01.23.11)
4. Well
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.23.11)
Unfortunately I don't believe that the biased international media will believe the report and will go for Turkey's report. But, at the end of the day, piss flotillas are not arriving anymore, so the final goal was achieved.
5. clearly, the "peace flotilla" was actually one that came to
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.23.11)
support the internationally recognized terrorist organization of Hamas and to do so by confronting the violently the guards of the lawful security sea blockade imposed on Hamas's territory of Gaza. And when people play with fire, as the "humanitarian" IHH did, people get hurt, despite the best of intentions of the law enforcers!!
6. Not shocking at all
Moshe ,   Rehovot, Israel   (01.23.11)
No, the results of the commission of inquiry are not shocking because they found what everybody knew all along. Did Jordan ever have a commission of inquiry investigate the thousands of Palestinians it killed during Black September? Did Syria ever investigate the thousands killed when it suppressed riots in Homs?
7. to Number 3
doron eliyahu ,   israel   (01.23.11)
Here in Israel where we do have democracy, we believe in this type of investigations and we know the truth comes out. Here there have been trials to soldiers who have committed mistakes, so believe me when they say there was nothing wrong, it means they acted the best way the could have done so.
8. 7 - good for you, out of israel
dave   (01.23.11)
nobody put any credence in this nonsense. it is a waste of money and paper.
9. These are not news- but to say it aloud?

10. @1 No condemnation or condemnation,
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.23.11)
Erdogan is expected to hear the word SORRY from you, O Zionists... Otherwise, "Israeli"-Turkish water will NOT return to its canals .
11. # 3
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.23.11)
Yes, shocking! Btw, can you give me example of any Arab country doing anything wrong and admitting it in some report? Since you are so shocked, I guess it is only because you are so used in fairness of Arab governments, I am sure that would not cause any problem to you. Btw, why do you believe Turkish report is correct? Another btw, have you seen any report on killing Kurds issued by Turkey? Many, I guess.
12. BTW
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.23.11)
And yet another btw, I don't remember you screaming and laughing here (Something like: How shocking, Turkish committee not condemning Turks) when Turks published their report. Or did you?
13. Jordania= palestinia
ROSENVALD ,   BRASIL   (01.23.11)
Before to talk nonsense, remember that your Country is the realy palestinia.
14. Israel fair & honest= a huge joke
America ,   US   (01.23.11)
Israelis are the ultimate biggest liars and users in the world. Their dishonesty is only surpassed by their rudeness, vulgarity, arrogance and stupidity/
15. It's all for home consumption..the world isn't buying it!
Edithann ,   USA   (01.23.11)
Who would they indict ? No Israeli heads ever roll for wanton crimes against humanity and especially those in defense of Palestinians..... What heads 'rolled' against them for the Israeli massacre of Gaza... You guys are too, too funny... TATA
16. What choice did Israel have?
Sean ,   Montreal, Quebec   (01.23.11)
Having decided against peace there is no way Israel can permit a breach in the prison which is Gaza. Not being able to hear testimony from.. uhh ..what's the euphemism for assassins. Right. Soldiers. Not hearing from the soldiers involved, the commission felt comfortable in making conclusions regarding their actions. Well we all must feel better now that we know the truth of that. Yes indeedy. I was almost dumb enough to bet the other way!
17. Turkel finding
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (01.23.11)
A cheap self-serving declaration if there ever was one. It has no credibility whatsoever in the international community, which will roundly condemn Israel and promote the BDS movement with increasing vigor. This declaration insults the intelligence of anyone not blinded by Zionist cant.
18. who needs this commision
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (01.23.11)
if you just opened your eyes, you knew. The arabs don't believe the commission, the europeans don't believe the commission, we did not need the commission. Our enemies and their European lackies could care less, and so who cares??/
19. I am proud of Israeli soulders
Leah   (01.23.11)
They are real men. I wish their wounds will soon recover. I am happy that there are boys like them in the world!
20. to #3 when iran is going to send a ship at your direction
ghostq   (01.23.11)
we will condamn Jordan actions and that according to your logic. I promiss I will be the first.
21. #19 " Great Expectations"
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
Charles Dickens wrote a book by that name The most you and Erdogan will get to do is wait and wait You might consider holding your breath while waiting, when you turn blue, you will realize that your waiting has been in vain
22. O Salma, that canals are clogged - by Erdogan
it's him who must ,   say sorry   (01.23.11)
23. We, Jews, knew it all along that the truth is on our side
Shalom   (01.23.11)
It takes a while for anti-Semitic countries to admit that Israel is the most moral army in the world. And also, according to the Torah military soldiers had the full right to take the booty of the enemies for themselves. (Deuteronomy 20:14)
24. The Anti - Israel crowd will...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.23.11)
Of course ridicule the results as it has already appeared in the talkbacks. So that is not surprising. But these results have been confirmed by others as well and only the people (terrorists) involved disagree with the conclusions. Regarding the need for aid, the alleged reason for the shipments. We read this: Reporter Steffen Jensen visited Gaza 01. June, 2010: "This time, I had expected to see real suffering...No food. Long queues in front of UN food stocks. Hungry children with food bowls. However, it was not the picture that greeted me...When I yesterday morning drove through Gaza City, I was immediately surprised that there are almost as many traffic jams as there always has been. Is there not a shortage of fuel? Apparently not...I went to Shati refugee camp, also known as Beach Camp...Here is one of Gaza's many vegetable markets that sell much more than just fruits and vegetables. I will not say whether, in better times has been a larger product range than there were yesterday. But there was certainly no shortage of vegetables, fruits or any other ordinary, basic foods. Tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, watermelons, potatoes - all in the mountains at the many stalls. I must admit I was a little surprised. I must admit. Because when I call down here to my Palestinian friends, so they tell me about all the problems and deficiencies, so I expected that the crisis was a little more clear." This pretty much says it all, from a reporter who has been to Gaza many times. So the PR stunt was a failure, this time. The was no crisis in Gaza therefore no need for the shipments. The one UN report that condemns this raid actually stated that on the day of the shipments there was a crisis in Gaza. Again the UN bias against Israel is shown to the world. The raid was conducted May 31, 2010 and the reporter wrote this story the following day, these were his observations while driving through Gaza. Interesting, isn't it?
25. turkel report unnecessary
moron ,   galut   (01.23.11)
nothing to investigate and doing so just compounds criticism---saying soldjiers or their commanders 'didnt expect violence' is ridiculous and either untrue or a disgrace to idf
26. we didn't really need any commision
Barney ,   USA   (01.23.11)
to tell us that the IDF acted morally and with unbelievable restraint as is their MO. Any other army, and justifiably so, would have opened fire and decimated the terrorists on that ship at the first sign of deadly force by them. As for the turks, salma, if they don't have relations with Israel it will be their loss. They will join the backward islamic world. The iranians on the street aren't that happy.. The lebanese are going to see that they jumped out of a frying pan into the fire. Meanwhile, the western world will enjoy freedom as long as they keep radical islam at bay
27. #17 Insult
Christian ,   Sweden   (01.23.11)
The only insult here is your insult to the intelligence of the readers of these talkbacks.
28. #15, agree complete waste of time
Danny   (01.23.11)
given people like you already made up your minds and copious video evidence didn't change it why would anything except a UN kangeroo court satisfy you. PS the "World" doesn't care.
29. is Turkel Commission legal? because Israel says too?
observer   (01.23.11)
who cares what Israel's commission says.
30. turkel report
HENRY BONK ,   usa   (01.23.11)
17 If you are just a tool, there is no point to discussion. If you are just a fool, then "insults to intelligence" does not apply to you anyway. litvac120,USA
