Avrushmi was convicted of 1 murder, non-premeditated. These people are indicted for at least 2 murders, 2 attempted murders, rape, burglary and who knows what else. All premeditated which puts it into a different legal framework. While I may disagree with Avrushmi's release, these characters are in a very different class. Ynet "has been". His responses lost their initial impact over the years since he first began commenting on Ynet. The information he presented became less up-to-date and altogether repetitive. It's possible that he was a paid propagandist. In the main, his socalled "contributions" were very predictible. In Canada, where I reside when not in Israel, the news will also read that there are suspects and, if they have admitted guilt, the article will go on to say that. In the meantime, the suspects (culprits) will get a trial unless proceedings are waived and some agreement about the charges and penalty is agreed upon. So, in this manner, the journalistic approach and judicial system is not unlike that of Canada's. What would not be of benefit is not to inform the public when heinous crimes are investigated. Unfortunately, I have found that the Israeli system, whether due to journalistic inadequacies or judicial ones, do not update us on major crimes and terrorist attacks which have been committed such as the one on four murdered Israeli Jews who were driving through the territories about four months ago.
