I am very proud to be an American. No other country in the history of the world has been as good to jews and humankind. That being said, I am also proud to be Israeli and will return to Israel, god willing. But my point remains the same. Most settlement and most settlers are not the problem. Legally and morally there is little difference between the West Bank and the rest of the country. We should stop thinking of the West Bank as a seperate entity and begin treating all of Israel and one with Arab neighborhoods and Jewish neighborhoods that need to learn to live together.

I have to take my own leave if I want to celebrate Pesach or Shavuot, or even Yom Kippur. I've never seen a Chanukiah in a public place but I've seen plenty of nativity scenes.
