I hope our Egyptian friend Fadi is safe.

Salma ,   Palestine   (01.29.11)
beware of chaos. beware of anarchy and anarchists.
3. BEWARE OF COPYCATS
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.29.11)
It doesn't take much to understand that Mubarak overstayed his welcome to power. It was convenient for Israel and the U.S. not to worry who ruled there, but anyone who visited Egypt saw the writing on the wall -- oppressed population living in poverty, suppressed discontent, corruption, and the dominance of religion. Finally, religion is doing Mubarak in. Can Israel be next?
4. #2 Sage advice for your "Palestinians".
(01.29.11)
5. I think Mubarak has lost, and it's time to
Joe ,   Ohio, USA   (01.29.11)
join his family in London. These riots are only gonna get worse and the responses will too. Mubarak's best option is to leave before it gets any worse and while he still has some leverage in putting someone in charge who''ll have a chance of running the country constructively
6. Salma
moshe ,   Tivon, Israel   (01.29.11)
Salma: The Egyptian people have been exploited by the Egyptian government Arab people have been exploited and distracted by Syria, pals, ham, and hiz. with lies, propaganda, and the pal version of the truth ( OK some of it is true ! (SOME !) Whatever the quarrel with us Jews in Israel, your people , the Arab people, have been used and abused by Arab leaders. Only a sucker (a person easily fooled) would be so focused on Israel, when his pants are being pulled down like this!
7. # 3
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.29.11)
You mean you would love Israel to be next. No chance, not now, not ever.
8. What do they want, just trouble? Idiots.
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.29.11)
The people are upset about high unemployment and other social problems but they have no spokesmen ( to lay out a list of demands). Besides the the usual suspects jumping up and trying to fill the power vacuum. So we have the criminals trying to steal everything they can get their hands on, even trying to break into the museums. That is an especially brilliant move, why don't they steal all the priceless displays out of the museums. That way, one of the best assets Egypt has to draw tourism, their antiquities museums will be gone, dropping the tourism to Egypt...which I'm sure has already happened...destroying one of the best source of revenue Egypt has, very smart. Ever wonder what percentage of the National Egyptian economy is fueled by tourism? Let me help you, in 2008 for instance Egypt had 12.8 million visitors that brought in $11 billion U.S. dollars. 12% of all the jobs in the country rely on the tourism business. As we see HERE: http://www.arabcin.net/importance-tourism-egypt.php So these rioting geniuses want to steal everything in the museums, typical self inflicted Arab destruction. But you can always blame Israel, right?
9. Bring the freedom for arabs...
Johnny ,   Stockholm Sweden   (01.29.11)
Sharia here we come.
10. time to divert the Nile River is NOW
Ethiojegna ,   Addis Ababa Ethiopia   (01.29.11)
While you egyptians are busy killing each other, now is a great time to build dams along the Nile River. Egypt read this very carefully: We remember your destabalization of the Horn of Africa since you got your independence. Now we will make fully sure to pay you back in kind!! Mubarak will destroy you before he dies/flees.
11. beware os Salma and all that she says
(01.29.11)
regardless to which side she pretends to be on.
12. All Christians who support Israel
Annmarie ,   USA   (01.29.11)
This is a great opportunity to reach out to Egyptians and lead them away from Islam and to Messiah. Land lines still work & many have family outside of Egypt with whom they are in contact. There are many "i reports" on news web sites. Now is the time to teach Arabs that the Messiah to the whole world comes through Israel. And without Israel, Gentiles have no promise & no hope for true peace! Messiah.com.es Ariel Ministries Joel Rosenberg HaDavar Ministries
13. # 3 beware
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (01.29.11)
Michael ! Yes, it could happen, when the shas populace will rebel against baba ovadia and the corrupt leaders of shas.
14. Muslim Brotherhood and Iran want to rule Egypt
(01.29.11)
Mohamed Mustafa ElBaradei the Iranian Traitor , the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran want to rule Egypt. They want Repression of women, prohibition of education, high unemployment, radical Islam as Iran, Somalia and under Taliban rule...
15. Ill Wind Blowing Towards Israel
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.29.11)
This is an ill wind blowing in Israel's direction and it's going to shut up the idealists and pragmatists for good. As you pointed out, what we see spreading across more and more Arab countries also reminds me of what happened with Hamas' 'democratic' takeover of Gaza. All of these developments are quite pleasing to the Mad Mahdi Clan of Iran. To those not drunk on the fake peace fumes it's evident that things are about to get much worse. The popular uprisings bode ill for the U.S. and it's dying influence in the region. The handwriting is on the wall in big, boldface. Prepare for the biggest and worst war ever fought because when the dust settles Israel will be the primary focus and next target as the cause for all that ails the Arab street. This is the price Israel pays for her pragmatic, idealist Covenant with Death,Road Map to hell and it has arrived at the doorstep.
16. #11 She has serious psychological problems, beyond politics.
(01.29.11)
17. #13, BABA OVADIA
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.29.11)
I agree Baba Ovadia is overdue to depart as a useless relic, more overdue than Mubarak. Young Shasniks wouldn't surprise me if they came out against even their middle age leaders such as Eli Yishai.
18. @16 yes I have psychological problems and
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.29.11)
My only advise to you is to be careful : ))))))
19. No Jews left in Egypt Baruch haShem

22. #12 no. it's not.
Wanda` ,   Montreal   (01.29.11)
social engineering or ideological colonialism or religious supremacy or whatever euphemism you'd give this is what led to this. stop the acquisitive meddling, as only then will you have peace and support.
23. Fadi-Are you OK ... Talk to us! We worried about you.
Alan ,   SA   (01.30.11)
24. re: #9
joel ,   usa   (01.30.11)
YOU SHOULD JOIN YOUR COMRADES IN THE EGYPT PROTEST AND NOT BE ENJOYING YOUR STAY IN THE SCANDINAVIA, OTHERWISE YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM THE HYPOCRITES!
25. #21; Youssef, Yes you are right...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.30.11)
It's dangerous to put a gun in the hand of a moron.
26. Response to Muslim Brotherhood and Iran want to rule Egypt
Jaylan ,   UK   (01.30.11)
Unfortunately with the depth of poverty in Egypt people will turn to religion and hope anyone will give them. If Iran or the MB offer them a better life, to them it is better than the lack of hope they have at the moment. Egypt's problems are a huge mountain to climb, high population rate to start with and it cascades from there. Where does one start. Whilst investment from abroad is wonderful, you are trying to fill a large endless hole. Where to begin?
27. Good to see the right people are getting shot
zionist forever   (01.30.11)
If they are members of the Muslim Brotherhood then the fewer of them the better. I hope somebody has also saved one for Mohammed El Bardaei who was calling for people to riot and overthrow Mubarak when this was all in its infancy. He is also allied himself with the Muslim Brotherhood and wants the presidency for himself.
28. # 23
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.30.11)
Alan, Fadi cant talk to us as the internet is down in Egypt. I hope Fadi is ok & safe.

Leah, there are a few hundred Jews in Egypt.
30. Reg: Very Sad :( by Selma
Skylark ,   USA   (01.31.11)
Selma, the sky is falling, too, don't forget. ;) You could make a long list of "beware of" things...but what's that got to do with what's happening in Egypt, or anywhere/anything else? If an earlier comment was mentioning your age, then the strange things you enter make sense. When I was in HS (way, way back, late 60's), I knew several girls that would write messages in such a manner as to make them appear to be "deep" thinkers (or almost sage-like), dark and strange messages that were nothing more than rambling nonsense. They weren't, but I think it made them believe they were. Every one of them that I knew were into drugs of mixed varieties, were depressed because they had no idea how to cope with many types of family troubles; they also had a time with authority figures. You should be better once out of HS, you might even begin to enjoy your last couple of years there. But, as the years go by, you'll find that ideas you now have, believing that's how you'll always feel and outlooks on life will change. As grow up, you'll begin to see things in a different light...because of experience you gain in life from one year to another. Good luck!
