1. Obama is talking nonsense..EU sez Egyptian Govt must end
Alan ,   SA   (01.29.11)
the Crackdown....Barry Soetero sez Egypt Govt must show "restraint"....I see the peaceful marchers not so peaceful and "restrained"They are the opposite.. They have been running amok for 5 days ....They are looting Department Stores and museums and anything they can Also raping. ....I think the Army has been very patient They sit on the tanks and allow the gangsters to climb on to kiss and cuddle them. Dont worry, the Muslim Brotherhood,Motherhood and sisterhood is waiting to ruin Eypt as they have ruined a few other countries. One guy in Cairo I heard on radio sed that previous regimes in Egypt have got their country into 4 Wars 48 56 67 and 73.
2. overdue
marcel   (01.30.11)
The british press, al jazeera, AP,CNN deserve an asskicking for verbally inciting worldwide audiences to extend the protests. They have magnified the protest, minimized protestor violence and criticized mubarak unfairly.Ben weideman of CNN has really exaggerated the protests in size and intensity. US obama and clinton should keep their noses out of egyptian affairs and stay the hell out. The US will abandon israel as they have abandoned the shah, abandoned the iranian revolt 2 years , have abandoned the lebanese to hezbollah. the states is all about money and weapons. other than that they are unreliable as they stick the knife into mubarak.
3. bbc stringer hit with metal bars.
sweeter than honey ,   far away   (01.30.11)
now there's a surprise, as honest as they have been and are with reporting, over the decades, from elsewhere in the middle east. indeed if i ever thought they deserved it in some way, i would be laughing.
4. And the entire world complains about us
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.30.11)
When we prevented their racist 'reporters' from going in with our troops and endangering the soldiers. I sure hope that the Egyptian authorities continue to treat the foreign press as they have been.
5. #2 smells like a mubarak loyalist
Ethiojegna ,   Addis Ababa Ethiopia   (01.30.11)
Defending terorist regime. you will pay for it in blood
6. They are News instigators not honest responsible Reporters
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (01.30.11)
Ben weideman of CNN is mis-leading in his reports, as he has in is his past history. He and many others including CNN make a game of reporting by carefully leading the questions that get the answers that they had pre-determined. The BBC and other of these reporters are behaving like movie " stars"............. These reporters make the story, and guide the story without assuming any responsiblity that comes with such serious actions. This is the main factor, the reporters do not have to account to anyone, they lack responsiblity and fairness.
7. re: Al Jazeera and the Egypt authorities
joel ,   usa   (01.30.11)
IT COULD BE TRUE THAT THE AL JAZEERA CONTRIBUTED TO THE "PROTESTS" IN EGYPT AND HAVE LINKS WITH THE AL QAEDA AFFILIATED MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, THE REASON COULD BE POSSIBL;E THAT THE EGYPTIAN AUTHORITIES WERE INFORMED OF THIS LINKS AND BARRED THE AL JAZEERA FROM COVERING THE EVENTS! ITS LOOKS REASONABLE!
8. Al Jazeera complaint about freedom of press?
R ,   Israel   (01.30.11)
From the article: "said Ayman Gaballah, a senior Al Jazeera official. "No restrictions or limitations should be imposed on the freedom of the press." " Is that funny or what? Al Jazeera complaining about freedom of the press. Al Jazeera, in the region of the world in which the only democratic country, and thus the only country that has any respect for freedom of the press, is Israel, who Al Jazeera loves to hate. This is better than any of the email jokes I received today!
9. Bravo Egypt - journalists are pig provocateurs
Avi ,   Geneva   (01.30.11)
They deserve any lesson they get.
