3. Will Israel retake the Sinai peninsular?
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.30.11)
If the Muslim Brotherhood takes over in Egypt one of the first things that it has vowed to do is to tear up the peace treaty with Israel. So Israeli leaders must already be thinking about retaking the Sinai Peninsular which was returned in exchange for the peace treaty. Retaking the Sinai would not be a problem militarily especially after what is taking place in Egypt right now, and it would give Israel a buffer with Egypt plus oil, and would seal off arms that are getting to Gaza. Yep, like Rahm Emanuel says, "Don't waste a good crisis" ...

6. EL Baradei and Egypt. caused this Riot !
benjamin ,   singapore   (01.30.11)
In a semi-presidential system of republic, where the president is the both the head of state and govt is in a better position to address issues concerning policy brutality, state of emergency, free election, free speech, corruption, unemployment. Price inflation, low wage system, freedom of the judiciary. But they did not ! The sytem dominated by The National Democratic party has been wide handed in the bank accounts of Egypt. The Executive Power has been long handed into the legislative power to the point the people assembly is also screwed up. Majlis El Shaab, Majis Shura penetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood. PLO and Hamas seems to have been adding fuel to the fire. El Baradei started it all in his speech !
7. On the surface this is NOT Muslim Brotherhood
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.30.11)
The majority of the protesters are not Muslim Brotherhood, mostly secular. We can do business with them. The question is, with the MB be able to come out smelling of roses, and in the lead. If yes.. then we have a problem.

Every fool in Israel who put their trust in the U.S. and the evil 2 state solution can now see the handwriting on the wall for ignoring HaShem and chasing after this false god for peace and security. Bibi is still in deep denial and will eventually have to pull his head out of the dregs of failed US policy and face reality. There is no peace coming without seeking God FIRST. America is finished.

Former Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Ynet on Saturday evening that "there is no alternative for Mubarak." Ben-Eliezer, who is considered the Israeli with the closet ties to President Mubarak, said "this is a serious situation, although the Egyptian leadership foresaw it and was prepared for it. Comment - Israel should suggest to Saudiarabia to openly support Egypts Mubarak against the Islamist radicals- It is in bouth Israels and Saudiarabias interessts . Orao.Srbia.

"Before the peace era" you lost all the wars. Typical that idiots would rejoice to going backwards in time, to a time of failure. This is funny, you have to wonder is the what the :Arab Street" feels? Now they want to abrogate the treaty with Israel and start a war? As I've always stated you can't have a treaty unless it will pass on, and be honored by successive governments. That's why the U.S. and Israel can be counted on to honor treaties. It's also why the Arabs in the disputed territories cannot be relied upon to honor their agreements. Egypt always honored their treaty with Israel, but because they made it a cold peace, it's come back to haunt them. You see these governments were always afraid of the "Arab Street", but could have used their educational system to change the hearts and minds of the people. Instead they chose to feed, teach and nurture the hatred, and its now turned inward, as it always does.

The people want to be free..I support their efforts...I can see with their protest signs that they are desiring US support - Its time for a change of regime for them...and it looks to me that they are willing to do what it takes to be free at any cost. Please consider the long term here..the people are your friends and if they are supported by Israel they will forever be in your debt.

The Brotherhood wants to rule Egypt but not the Iranians. The Iranians have nothing to do with Egypt. They do want to destabilize Egypt for the same reason they wanted an alliance with Syria, Turkey and Hamas: to prevent an American attack on Iran until they get nuclear weapons. The Iranians do want to rule Saudi Arabia because once they control the oil they will be able to reestablish the Persian empire, get revenge for the nerve gas and Scuds the Arabs used against them and get revenge for Operation Ajax.

many don't believe that Mubarakwould step down, in a revolution you need the "guns & weapons" to be in your side in order to get the power( Elbaradei & Muslim brotherhood is doing it) but the protesters are "toothless" against Mubarak's army & police who are contented with their boss; once the real 'firepower" is unlease those protesters would evaporate, Mubarak will not hesitate to follow the "Tianen Square' incident! the army is the "power" of Mubarak!

Mr. PM - You are taking the right stand. The people are against Mubarack because he has been in power for 30 yrs and they want change from their situations. I stand with Israel, but I also stand with the Egpytian people. It is the people who cause the rise and the fall of nations not governments. You must listen to the people wishes even if they seem to be to the contrary. The people will love you and Israel if you support their efforts, they will hate you and your country if you do nothing to advance their cause. I understand that Mubarack is an a friend of USA and Israel, but you must respect the wishes of the people, not just the government's. Support Egypt and their transistion to another form of government even if it one that you disagree with or fear. Instability is not good but it is managable if you back the people. Americans wants Mubarack out because we want the Egyptians to be free like us...we want democracy for them, too. We do not care if he is an allie, only that he sets his people free. Yes, they may replace Mubarack with the muslim brotherhood - this would not be good....it would be better if there was a coliation of types of governing bodies, but let them make those choices for their own country, pls. You would want the same for your own, Yes? My prayers are with Egypt and always for Israel. Peace be to you.
