you are wrong about israelis. we do not want for egyptians to be under an autocratic regime. in israel we have and enjoy democracy and know exactly how egyptians live in repression and fear. this is not what we want for you.
we just do not want an islamic brotherhood regime like iran mullahcracy ruling egypt because under such a regime, it will be worse for you than mubarak. and of course, worse for us too because the peace trwaty between us will not be respected by this kind of regime. this will bring war on both our people and many of both of us will die.
i want mubarak out too, as an israeli, so that you won't suffer anymore. but i really do not want egypt to be like iran and rulled by fanatic islamic etremists that turned iran into a crazy paranoid and stifling police state where people get killed, hanged, repression, not a shred of fair elections, prison torture, disappearnces of family memebers and those that do not agree with the mullas, loss of freedom for women, most will have to wear a beard and a hijab and scarf. your religious freedom will disappear and you will all resemble iran more and more.
is this what you want?
show me one democratic leader in egypt...not el baradei who is sympathetic to the islamic brotherhood. but another person, an intellectual that knows about freedom and that won't take egypt further into disaster like the ayatollas took iran.
when the revolution happened in iran, the ayatollas promised freedom from the shah and democracy...and look what happened. now you understand why israelis fear an islamic brotherhood on our border. it is not different than hamas who shoots at wedding celebrators because they sing and dance at weddings. is this what you want?
