1. Emily the Arab seeks refuge in Jewish Israel
Al   (01.31.11)
You cant make this stuff up. Reminds me of how the French in Quebec, who couldnt give a rats ass as to the Jews safety and well being, always find their way to a Jewish Doctor to save their ass.
2. All Arabs hate Israel.
jj ,   USA   (01.31.11)
Egypt will turn against Israel in the next war. It is all written! We stand alone with HasheM!
3. The Price of Palestinian Land
Rob   (01.31.11)
With Hezballah to the North, Syria the North West, Hamas to the South, the Muslim Brotherhood sitting behind Gaza and an Islamic Jordan just around the corner, I guess the public of Israel will soon be learning the price of the stolen Palestinian lands - how much of your GDP goes towards the Military budget today? I suspect you will soon double it and I dont suppose the US public is going to look favorably at any more free money to Israel given their state. From 1982, you had your chance to make peace with the PA and you chose not to do so. Enjoy your ill gotten gains - they wont be yours for much longer. Free Palestine.
4. Who will be the next Pharaoh?

Ariel ,   São Paulo - Brazil   (01.31.11)
There is already a Palestine state in Gaza. Why you do not go and live there ? Israel is the last democracy in M.E. Long Live to Israel
6. This is bad. Very bad.
John ,   Europe   (01.31.11)
We all remember the ousting of Shah in Iran? Everybody were against his tyranny, both the communists, nationalists, islamists etc. And in the end, what happened? Islamists killed the rest. Mubarak was SOB, no doubt. We can bitch and squeal that he was antisheme. He was, no doubt. But - who cares as long as he did not attack Israel? Now, in worst case scenario, we will have a mass wave of protests in middle east that will end up with islamists taking power and getting closer to Saudi Arabia or Syria. In any case - talibanic states all around Middle East. And Israel between United Talibanic States, headed by Saudi Arabia on one side, or Syrian-Lebanese-Iran alliance on other side. I beg everybody's pardon, but, the expression "we are f.u.c.k.e.d." would have a whole new meaning and would have to find equivalent both in yidish and in ladino.
7. Mubarak's role is not over yet : (
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.31.11)
seems that his successor is not ready enough.
8. #3 Muhamad
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (01.31.11)
Your letter makes no sense. There is no such thing as "Palestinian land". As proven by history, archeology, the Bible and the Koran, Jews are the indigenous people of Israel and the Arabs are colonial occupiers. The "aid" that the US gives Israel is unneeded, unwanted and comes with strings that have caused Israel more damage than help. As every Arab will tell you, the only acceptable peace is one where Israel ceases to exist. Point out one Arab leader or organization that says different. And please check your dates. There was a chance for peace in 1982: Israel could have and should have shot Arafat. Instead, Israel followed the CIA's orders not to. As for the physical danger to Israel from Hezbolla, Syria, Hamas and don't forget Dayton's army in Shchem. All you are proving is that Israel's Leftist leaders are failures for arming Israel's enemies, and that small peaceful nations like Israel have less of a chance to live free than large violent nations.

Which stolen land are you talking about ? You mean from the Jordan River till the Sea ? Are you the great grandson of Emperor Hadrian ? He stole the land from the Jews. Educate yourself and read a good history book...
10. T0 @ 3
~~Lengualima~~ ,   I   (01.31.11)
To @ 3. No one can steal what belongs to him in an official document. According to the Bible, the Koran, and the Palestine Mandate. The land of Israel belongs to the Jewish People for more than four thousand years. I do not think that those who call Judea and Samaria, West Bank, which has less than 63 years may be called eternal land owners. You will study some history would do well. Threats, we have not 63, but more than 90 hearing the same spiel. Here we are yet. I hope that when you want next time, be fulfilled. Do not go crying to the international organizations, that Israel is the bad guy. Who plays in the casino of the war and loses, must pay with interest.!
11. Rob
Z ,   Israel   (01.31.11)
You do understand how asinine your argumentation is right? On stolen Palestinian lands? When were they Palestinian again? Who was the first ethnic group to call themselves Palestinian (the Jews of Russia)? How about our lands, like Jerusalem, or the 63% of the land we currently sit on that was legally purchased by the Arabs and the British in the 19th and 20th centuries. Apparently those don't count. Regarding military spending. If you knew anything about Israel you would know that the reason that only 9% of the national GDP goes to the military is because of peace with Egypt. Before the agreement in 79 was signed with Sadat, it was 27%. Your idiocy is baffling and your obvious Jew hatred even more so. I assume you are American...how much of your GDP goes to a military or military regimes that suppresses the entirety of the Middle East, Africa, and South East Asia?
12. 1% of Cairo residents are protesting!
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.31.11)
1% of Cairo residents are protesting and most of the rest are terrified. Seems like Mubarak is getting things under control which is good for the world. The democracy that the US is pushing for would last about as long as it did in Gaza. Mubarak has prevented the Muslim Brotherhood and other fanatics from gaining power in Egypt and he's getting little support from the West. Obviously he's far from ideal but is far better than the alternative.
13. The US administration learned nothing from Gaza!
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.31.11)
The US pushed for democracy in Gaza and shortly after Hamas came to power democracy died a violent death. Democracy and Islam don't mix!
14. Mubarak
Walid Hassan ,   Beirut Lebanon   (01.31.11)
Mubarak ( NO TALKS , JUST GET LOST IDIOT )
15. Hosni, a cool tatoo on the forhead!
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (01.31.11)
16. Egyptian protestors resort to antisemitism
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (01.31.11)
The moment I saw the Star of David drawn on Mubarak's photo, as if this Jewish sympol is something negative - that's when they lost my sympathy. Such display of antisemitism shows this revolution's true colors.
17. Anyone who cant see Muslimbrotherhd 97% behind this is dumb
Alan ,   SA   (01.31.11)
dumb dumb Its exactly like the Hitler Putches, the Russian Revolution,Iran 79. First the nice nice guys -then the baddies! ISLAMOFASCISTS R us
18. ISLAM IS a federation of political partys with a hint of Rel
Alan ,   SA   (01.31.11)
igion! The Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas is organised as a highly motivated Party for DECADES! The other noch shlepers have no organisation whatsoever . They are shouting and screaming in the squares and streeets , but are not formaly organised.Students shmudents, intellectualls intershmectualls led by the Baradei guy from Vienna (a mate of Iran) who left Egypt 40 years ago!! If Mubarak and Army agree to pull out and have election NOW ,it will be like taking candy from a baby for the Muslim Brothers. They will have all the others for breakfast. The useful idiots will be sidelined and we will have another IRAN on the Canal . EGYPTIAN ARMY HOLD FAST PLEASE ... Alan(fellow African)
19. Mubaraks swan song
daz ,   uk   (01.31.11)
Mubarak doesn't realise it but he is finished in Egypt, even the US have turned their backs on him. He needs to leave now to avoid anymore bloodshed.
20. Don't worry about #3; Rob
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.31.11)
As it already has been pointed out he is clearly a fool who has never read a book about history. The U.S. population according to the most recent Gallup Poll was 63% in favor of Israel. I think the only true Democracy surrounded by a bunch of maniac nations will only increase their popularity, Americans love an underdog. What Rob the fool, doesn't get, is this, a war in the region can only end one way, total annihilation of the whole region. Crumbling the entire world economy, which is based on oil. Rob do think Israel and the Jewish people will walk into the ovens again? Do you have any idea how many nukes Israel has? When backed into corner and it looks as if all in Israel will die, what do you think Israel will do? Let me help you, they will launch their weapons and level every country (at war with them) around them, period. I hope to G-d that it never comes to that, only a fool would want that. But then again, you are a fool, aren't you?
21. NO to talking
Brod ,   USA   (01.31.11)
Mubarak should install a new government led by top Army Generals. He should never let the Muslim Brotherhood take over the country. The Army should immediately secure the country and round up all the Muslim Brotherhood leaders. The Army should not tolerate internal enemies that are trying to destroy the country with their fanatical ideology.
22. To 21 Brod
Haytham Omar ,   Cairo Egypt   (01.31.11)
