1. I must admit I was on his side just a day ago
HaifaGuy ,   Haifa   (02.02.11)
But when you see hundreds of thousands of people from all the layers of the Egyptian society intertwined in one passionate thrust to topple him, you realize that the poor bastard must have done something wrong. In a democracy, everyone is a bit unhappy. In an autocracy, a very tiny portion of the population is extremely happy while the rest spend their lives cursing the day they were born. I guess, this is Egypt, and it has come to a pointbreak. 30 years of stagnation in all spheres (im only speculating), mad birth rate - these two form a deadly cocktail and its not a Bloody Mary, its much more akin to Molotov's. I am guessing it really sucks to be Egyptian, the better educated you are the worse the frustration. Lose Mubarak, but for Allah's sake, dont lose peace with Israel. Otherwise, we will all lose. Peace out to all peace and freedom loving Egyptians!
2. Keep the Muslim Brotherhood in the Muslim neighborhood

3. 1 - Haifaguy - There is a problem
Bruriah Sarah   (02.02.11)
The Muslim Brotherhood is an org that wants Egypt to be led by jihadists. Hamas is affiliated with the MB, so is Hezbollah. IF the MB succeeds, even the PA is in danger. It is not a good situation for the ME.
4. hosni mubarak and egypt.
sjoerd ruurd...... ,   planet earth   (02.02.11)
after 30 years of dictatorship, autocracy , authoritarism and totalitarism he has to resign to day (immediately). let this be a lesson for every dictator/dictatorship everywhere in this world who terrorises/imprisons/kills his/their own people. it is up to the egyptian people to decide/to choose what is going to happen with their people and their country/land without foreign meddling. this is the right of every population/people.
5. He does not intend to ....
The Prophet ,   Iran   (02.02.11)
Oh, please your majesty. Please don't abandon us. Please, please & please. Don't leave us defenseless, leaderless, homeless, hopeless...Please stay, just another 86 years. Hardly anything, just 86 years. How are we to survive without your elegance, insight, brilliant & unmatched leadership. Please don't leave us, you the CLOWN.

its becoming laughable the Israeli panic over the fall of Mubarak. One of the planks that has been letting get away with murder is disappearing.. worried about the PA ,, what a joke
8. Hi anyone. Not to sound naive..
Josette ,   new york, new york   (02.02.11)
But, what exactly are they protesting besides the obvious that he has not been taking care of the needs of the masses and the public is frustrated and want change- or they think with him gone things may change. because the whole area has been repressed because of the camp david situation where the USA paid off Egypt so they wouldnt attack Israel.. so does anyone have any idea? thanks in advance.
9. #1 we in israel can't even stand to have
(02.02.11)
the same leader for 4 years (usually toppled before the end of the term), so imagine having the same leader for 30 years.
10. wtf-what's the fuss
Mark ,   usa   (02.02.11)
Something the anger of the street in middle east is forgeting is "Never Again" is dam serious business and one that Outsiders have been imposing on the region for last 20 since the divide of east and west ideology was no longer acting as the break. As an american observer of this period of time, the counter balance has always been to stear the politics towards peace, the belief that all on the region have a stake. Many in the region would differ with this generalization. So be it then, since now as the region grows into assuming this understanding and role of charting their future does not null and void "never again". As I said it is dam serious business, and one usa takes very seriously. So the course to turn the page is now in the peoples hands. Which brings back to events still unfolding, This is to say for much of this time, usa has been trying to put a square peg into a round hole, and why is that, could it be that there is ample evidence that asperations to chart ones own future quickly boils down into channeling frustrations, the emotions of decades into a release that seeks an easy outlet a escape goat. The peace process has not worked in my eyes because the issue is still fundementely focused on a part of islam that rejects peace with anything that that does not politically bind into an islamic world view. Here is some shocking news, most of the world rejects political islam, by that I mean most of the world political powers that have capacity to make for an islamic bad day will not suffer for a nano-second the bs militant islam has pulled over last 30 or so years is coming to ahead. So if the worlds interference in islamic afairs has appeared to failed, I caution because I truely love my fellow man with all his faults, the name of this game is the ball is now totally in your hands, and it is without a far stretch of the imagination been designed to place the outcome as such seeing history has failed to reach a compromise. Just keep asking yourself, is "Never again" a two way street, one that has frustrations in on the other side of the arguement. And forget israel as the sole grieviance, israel is just the measure by which the world judges islam's political heart.
