6. If it walks like Teheran 1979>
HaifaGuy ,   Duh   (02.03.11)
And if it talks like Teheran 1979 - it must be an Islamic revolution in the making. the secular institutions in the Muslim world are feeble and will not withstand the evergrowing onslaught of the enraged Islamic masses. Sooner rather than later the Muslim Brothas will snake into the driver seat and take over the steering. Yet somehow, living in Israel still makes sense to me. Am I crazy?

You should resign today so we can see a civil war and all kinds of killings. That would be such a great payback for your crimes against Africans.

Hmm. ,   Chicago   (02.04.11)
Look, whatever happens in Egypt, it's a HUGE public relations mistake for Israel to be seen as supporting the dictator over democracy in Egypt. Since the protesters lack both leadership and organization, I frankly don't give them long. As soon as government forces push them out of the square, they're finished. Tiananmen Square all over again.

fad egypt   (02.04.11)
you are mistaken the jews didnt build the pyrimads because they were build in the period between 2500 to 2000 b.c but the israelites were in egypt for 400 years from 1800 b.c to 1400 b.c i am not sure but they were in egypt after 2000 b.c

Obama is an idiot. Stay strong. Not all of us in the United States agree with what this nutty president is doing. Sue the United States for damages caused by this staged coup.
14. Agree with Mubarek
Ruth Rasnic ,   Israel   (02.04.11)
Resignation would be the easiest thing for Mubarek. The massive demonstrations without an experienced captain at the helm could lead Egypt into anarchy and civil war. Finally the Muslim Brothers could take over.

R ,   Jerusalem   (02.04.11)
Muslim Brotherhood. Mubarak is bad but the MB will be no better, if not worse. Look at Iran and how their population was killed and raped when they had enough of Sharia. And Obama didn't support their democratic aspirations. He doesn't care about the people, just look back at his stance on the Iran revolution uprising.

21. Here is a story from Shah overthrow -this is what MB plans
Alan ,   SA   (02.04.11)
Iran's new rulers have executed four of the Shah's top generals and are putting 22 other military and civilian officials of the overthrown monarchy on trial. This was announced by an official spokesman of the Ayatollah Khomeiny. The four generals had been convicted of offences against the people. SYNOPSIS: The generals' bodies were displayed for newsmen in a morgue. The four men had been machine-gunned to death on the roof the military headquarters of religious leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeiny, who led the campaign to topple the Shah. The former martial law administrator for Isfahan General Raza Naji was among the dead. And there were General Medhi Rahmi, the former chief of police and Military Governor of Teheran, and the former head of the army's airborne bridge General Manducher Khosrodad. General Mematollah Nassiri was the best known among them. He was a close friend of the Shah and a former head of the SAVAK secret police. All four had been convicted of treason, torture and massacres. Photographs of the corpses were published in the Teheran evening newspaper, and supporters of the Ayatollah greeted the news with jubilation. But some factions in the country disapprove of the secrecy and swiftness of the trials, and plan demonstrations. Date: 16/02/1979

Are U Crazy? Who knows? But your obviously a bit stupid as you cant read the thousand reports that explicitly state that this is a secular uprising seeking secular democracy.

24. mubarak on of the best pharohs
alexi   (02.04.11)
mubarak was very statesmanlike, along with sulimen, a very able intelligence man. Against him you have el baradei, a lying proiranian buffoon, the moslem brotherhood mother ofhamas ready to take power, moussa, head of the arab league who runs around praisiing erdogan. Some choice- when he told obama you don't understand egyptian culture, he was dead right. And if egypt becomes iran #2, then obama can join jimmy carter in the pantheon of disastrous presidents.
25. The army letting chaos start to become indispensable
Joe ,   Canada   (02.04.11)
The start of organized fighting between, on one side, Mubarak &/or Egyptian army supporters & on the other side the opposition supporters may be just a trick used by the army to come out as the only undisputable referee capable of maintaining order. It may just be waiting until events become so ugly that the average Egyptian will accept or tolerate the army as the least of two evils to rule the country.
26. Innocents Abroad
leo ,   nyc   (02.04.11)
According to the West, any support of Mubarak is bad and all anti government demonstrators are saints---this is utter stupidity..Look at the reports of neighborhoods across Cairo engaging in self defense against the hordes intent on mayhem. Mubarak is right---he must stay for awhile or Egypt will be swallowed up in riots by criminals and radicals.
27. Obama's Plans are Going Like Clockwork
Dallas ,   Canada   (02.04.11)
Iran, Lebanon, Egypt... it's a leftist red-green dream come true! Thank you Obama, your damage to the stability of the world may just be irrepairable. Mubarak's statements are correct, and while he ain't that great, the alternate (revolution and radicalization of the Arab world) is going to be a disaster.
28. Mubarak is right
Brod ,   USA   (02.04.11)
Why should Egypt be destroyed by chaos, lawlessness and the domination of fanatical Islamist-Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists and Ayatollahist forces?
29. #2, not the pyramids
Yossef   (02.04.11)
The Bible says that the hebrews have built the "storage cities" of Pitom and Ra'amses, but nothing about the pyramids.
