Wow. U R good @ telling lies and propaganda
2. too bad, that nobody can enters gaza...
eporue ,   europe   (02.04.11)
whatever - "Gaza is the address for every revolution in the Arab world" - this is very true. it WAS the outpost of the arab world, their terror satellite. like the rest of the world cheers for their fav soccer club, the arab world cheered for gaza... because all attention was on it, all the dictators didnt touch it with a bargpole. it was the dictators guarantee to stay in power. as long as there was "gaza", they didnt have to act against the occupation, to deal with israel about it - and in return, israel didnt touch the dictators with a bargpole. but it has so "badly" failed. gaza. not hamas is to blame, its the whole idea which was wrong from the beginning... now the people seek to sort out things with a democratic elected government... they will ask: "ok, thats your plans about employment, about..., and what about our neighbour, who oppresses people. i dont give a f:ck about people, but our not-muslim-neighbour shouldnt do that, and we just watch it..." every democracy around is a BIG problem for israel, because its parties will have to answer questions, and TAKE A STANCE.

13. 1000's........Gaza
p boyd ,   england   (02.04.11)
Mahmoud Abbas has lost all credibility. His two faced treatment of palestinians and the PA's subjugation to the US and israel have proved they have forgotten the meaning of the words 'self-respect'. The Palestinian people want to demonstrate against him and his collaboration politics and he bans them from doing so! He chose to side with the enemy of his people (as proved by the WikiLeak cables) rather than the democratically elected Hamas party. May he feel the shame!
14. It's bad enough I have to read all this Israel/Jew bashing..
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.04.11)
...on yahoo and any other place where they allow talkbacks. But really Ynet I'm beginning to wonder who's side your working for. Unbiased reporting is one thing but allowing trolls to publish so much hatred aimed at Jews is really sickening.

Brutality is rampant in the Arab/Muslim world. This video tells the story. Are you saying Palestinians are liars?
17. Hamas & PLO
JD   (02.04.11)
Let them kill each other. They had it better when Israel was in charge of Gaza.

eli ,   Yerushalayim   (02.04.11)
You're right in a few points: 1. Gaza was and is a terror outpost (even Europe declares the Hamas as terror-organization). 2. Gaza failed badly and demonstrates that Israel gets war for land and not peace. 3. The people in Gaza have to ask for employment plans, for education plans and how their elected government plans to develop infrastuctures, businesses etc. But why didn't they ask this already five years ago? Moreover, people should ask themselves why they destroyed the greenhouses http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9331863/ns/world_news-mideast/n_africa/ instead to use them and to produce food. But let me ask you some questions for better understanding. 1. Why don't you ask what the democratic elected Hamas did with opposition after one year in 2007. It remembers me on free elections in Germany in 1933. After a short time remaind only one party. 2. Why don't you ask yourself what Hamas bought from all your european money other than weapons. 3. You don't need to know history deeply. Have a look when the so called "blocade" from Israel took place. It was not after "democratic" elections in 2006 but after Hamas destroyed the opposition and start it's war against Israel in 2007. So Israel has no problem with democracies as long as they don't attack us. 4. "and in return, israel didnt touch the dictators "-Would you like to say that Israel hase to interfere in internal politics of its neighbours?
22. #1 Kul Kalb Bij Yommo. FREE GAZA FROM HAMAS BEASTS!
(02.04.11)
You'll soon be hanging heads-down my friend.
23. Only 5% of Gaza population have access to internet
shadi- Gaza ,   gaza strip   (02.04.11)
over the past 10 days I've asked many ordinary people here in Gaza if they heard of Fatah campaign for a revolution against Hamas on Feb 11, they all said ((NO)).....LOL...... Hamas still have popularity among palstinians, they admire the Hamas differnent approach in authority .. hamas created jobs to thousands of gaza unemployed youth.. Hamas enforced law and order and quelled the clan feud Gaza people were notorious for... This Fatah campaign is doomed failure an no one will definetly take part even (( me ))
24. #6 just curious, did Hamas make this group...
Persian Tiger ,   Green Revolution   (02.04.11)
Hamas created this group to attract its opponents, then when they start their demonstrations against the Hamas regime, they deal with them Iranian-style: shoot to kill, break their legs, butcher them with axes, rape them and throw them from rooftops. The more I think, the more I am convinced that this is a Hamas setup. So what's your take "radek" - maybe I am right and you are wrong?
25. DAY of rage did you say?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (02.04.11)
Mmm Well my rage against that despotic, useless, corrupt, lying, cynical, violent, brainless and most of all treacherous bunch of illiterates - has been going on for years Perpetuating the status quo for their own ends while the people suffer and selling the souls of Palestinians in West Palestine Gaza to a bunch of wierdo mullahs in Iran to line their dirty pockets And you thought Tunisia was corrupt?
26. Where are the arabs on this????
JJ ,   UK   (02.04.11)
27. #23 "Hamas different approach to authority": tyranny
(02.04.11)
Yes, nice propaganda piece. The 5% Internet access just a small glaring example of how democratic and freedom-loving Hamas is, not to mention the Islamist Police and the rape and harrassement of the Christian and other minorities, the nightly arrests and torture of the opponents to the Hamas terror, Hamas cooperation with local criminal gangs, and the on-going terror. Oh, I forgot one thing: there are no Jews to blame in Gaza. Do us a favor and excuse is if we don't wear your pink glasses. Gaza is under a tyrannical Jihadist rule, racism and hatred are rampant, the only jobs Hamas offers are: terrorists, agitators and mosque preachers. The rest are left to live off the billions of USA and EU taxpayers money, AFTER Hamas skimmed off its "protection money" it collects from these useful idiots. Hamas has proved that it is incapable of improving life in Gaza. But that's to be expected if their own goal is the destruction of Israel, instead of focusing on the well-being of their newly-independent people. They got freedom and they don't know what to do with it, except trash it. Time to go, Hamas. Time to make way for new leaders, leaders who will hopefully learn that peace is more useful than terror and tyranny.
28. Oh Shadi - Have you been brainwashed as well
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (02.04.11)
Do you honestly call West Palestine Gaza A SUCESS STORY? Only that contemptible bunch of Hamas leeches at the top WANT YOU TO BELIEVE IT so that they can keep the rest under their grubby thumbs Look beyond your horizon at the rest of the world and West Palestine Gaza is an economic and political basket case OF THEIR MAKING So stop being a zombie like apologist for them think beyond the horizon and work for a better future for you and your children because THAT IS WHAT WEST PALESTINE GAZA DESERVES
29. #18 ... "border with egypt. has been open for days"
eporue ,   europe   (02.04.11)
either (a) you mean the israel-egypt-boder (b) you are totally deluded (c) you are outright lying
30. #21 - i was referring to the new government in egypt...
