1. Nice but...
Adam ,   Ramat-Gan   (02.27.11)
...shame that we can't watch the cricket World Cup over here....unless we stream from the PC. English ex-pat.
2. To #1: Get a satellite dish!
Galilean ,   Israel   (02.27.11)
There are three cricket channels on Nilesat which is very easily received in Israel on an 80 or 90 cm dish. Check out sat-israel satworld.tk for forums and details in Hebrew. The are many options for TV in English. All is possible. Who needs YES or HOT's meager pathetic sports channel selection?
3. Adam get a SlingBox
Neil Turner ,   Watford, UK   (02.28.11)
Adam Assuming you have family in the UK, you need to install a SlingBox so you can stream the Cricket World Cup online. It's very effective I'm an ECB Level 2 Coach and Israel supporter :)
4. #1
LEVI ,   LOD- ISRAEL   (02.28.11)
I totally agree with Adam, why we cannot see cricket on television, first we should see on fox sports but now it is stopped. secondly i really appreciate the initiative taken by indian embassy which will not only bring indian community together but also promote cricket in israel i hope & get some sponsor. believe me if they invest 1% of money they invest in football or basketball cricket can get israel to european level & lift the cup. hope we get the sponsor; support to cricket in israel.
5. Cricket - the game for all!
Tim ,   Brighton   (03.01.11)
It was great to recently see a Jewish Community game of cricket being played recently in London Unlike any sport Ive seen it was embraced enthusiastically by Jews of every pursuasion - from the secular to the chasids who got to grips with bat and ball with relish - taking runs dressed in kippah, locks, tallis etc etc. And one of them walloped a six as good as Ive seen for years! But thats cricket. One of Englands best bowlers wears his Sikh Turban during play so why not a Chasid Superbatsman for Israel?
6. This is only the beginning for Israeli-India relations!
Harold ,   Canada   (03.09.11)
We all know that in 20 years, India will be one of the major players of the world. Both countries are democracies in a region full of authoritarians or dictators. Their defence industry has never been closer, but now it's time for cultural and political gains. We all know how Israel was shunned by middle-eastern and Asian nations in the Asian Football Conference or Asian Games or Asia Cup. Israel had to go to UEFA. But if India is willing to play events in or with Israel, it's only a matter of time before Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and the other non-muslim countries welcome Israel back. They were afraid back then, but no longer. Why should all of Asia or even the middle-east be dominated by ignorant countries? With India, the possibilities are very great for Israel.
7. Nice!
Esteban ,   Argentina   (10.11.12)
