forger as no such painting of Kandinsky's ever existed. What he did was in "in the style of" Kandinsky. That is not a crime. Nor did he necessarily have an active part in passing the painting off as a "Kandinsky". He is only guilty of a criminal act (not forgery) if it can be proved that he knowingly took part in a fraudulent scheme intended to dupe another collector. In that case, he may be found guilty of conspiracy to commit fraud. They'll have to get others involved in the fraud to involve the Israeli painter. Probaqbly not a hard thing to do, however, given promises of reduced sentences on plea bargaining.

More crooks per capita than any other group.
3. The Subjectiveness of "Art"
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.19.11)
The collector loved the painting and was ready to pay three million euros for it. That's how good the painting is. The only distinction is that is was painted by an Israeli rather than Kadinsky... and suddenly it has no value? Clearly this was a work of art of great talent and expertise. The only thing it lacks is the "name brand" but is otherwise indistiguishable to what was offered to the collector. This story brings transparency to the incredibly subjective appreciation and value of "Art" - showing it for the sham it really is.
4. Russian Culture.....

Well each her/his wown. We are talking however about the "great contribution" of the Russian inflow to Israel. Just go back of the Great hordes of Jewish immigration at the turn of the previous century throughout the world: Israel, South America and North America, Australia and South Africa: they have brought with them as in today's Israel their atavistic attitude to life, from the uinassailable passion for drinking, killing and just mayhem. So, is Kadansky an exception to Art contribution with no moral scrupules: let me see....well the hell with morality just ckeck the pirates: Abramovich, and the Jewish Mafia.
5. Robert # 1

Maybe he signed it with Kandinsky ? Then he is a forger . Nothing is said about the signature .
