How is it possible that the building's electrical system could have been positioned on the roof (a ridiculous place in my opinion) without being thoroughly sealed and waterproofed? Are there other buildings with their systems on the roof? If there are, and there's no adequate protection for them from rainwater, I suppose we can expect more such fires. Regarding the fire detection systems, I'm guessing that if they operated with electricity there wouldn't have been any electricity to set them off once the electrical system had been short circuited. I would very much like to see answers to these questions from Fire Services.
