1. Long Overdue
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (02.16.11)
Hebron is the cradle of the nation of Israel, where our Patriarchs and Matriarchs lived and are buried, where King David ruled before Jerusalem. Every Jew is intrinsically connected to Hebron, and this connection must always be strengthened.
2. Excellent! I hope this becomes true.
nehama ,   san jose   (02.16.11)
I think it is great if school field trips include Hebron for all Israeli kids. It may start out only in certain areas but eventually could spread. I remember living in Israel in 1984 when my parents were on sabbatical and how access to Patriarch cave was so much easier and not restricted. Now days it is more complicated but I know israel govt wants people to feel comfortable visiting this area so hopefully they will work on this matter more.
3. Not my children
Concerned Parent ,   Israel   (02.16.11)
Sorry but my children will not be touring the illigal occupied terrotries. I am not putting my childrens life at risk in order to satisfy some politician, end of ! They can not force us and i will organise other parents who also think the same
4. because of the very real danger involved...
IMC ,   Jerusalem   (02.16.11)
...this trip should be optional and each student and their parents MUST have the right to decide whether or not they wish to participate in a visit to Hebron. In other words the school children of Israel should not be used as human shields in the protection of the settler residents of Hebron!
5. Definitely for my children
Rivka ,   Israel   (02.16.11)
We always wanted to go to Hevron but never have had the right opportunity. I want my kids to understand their own history, and Hevron is integral to this. We aren't religious but it isn't just a religious issue. It is a national one, a historical one- a Zionist one.
