Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (02.16.11)
Does anyone recognize this? "3. The Parties undertake, in accordance with the provisions of this Article, the following: A To refrain from the threat of use of force or weapons, conventional, non-conventional or of any other kind, against each other, or of other actions or activities that adversely affect the security of the other Party; B To refrain from organizing, instigating, inciting, assisting or participating in acts or threats of belligerency, hostility, subversion or violence against the other Party; B To take necessary and effective measures to ensure that acts or threats of belligerency, hostility, subversion or violence against the other Party do not originate from, and are not committed within, through or over their territory (hereinafter the term "territory" includes the airspace and territorial waters)." It's Article 4 Security, para 3 from the 1994 Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty.I've taken it from a Jordan Government site: http://www.kinghussein.gov.jo/peacetreaty.htm Especially read clause B.Mjali has severely violated that and should have no place in the Jordan government if it is serious about the Peace Treaty. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
34. Yes, Israel would build a monument
Carl ,   USA   (02.16.11)
to Israelis murdered by Arabs. But would NEVER build a monument to glorify an Israeli who murdered innocent Arab children.
35. Mr. King of Jordan get the Swiss Air tickets ready
Mark C   (02.16.11)
Mr. King of Jordan, if you think attacking Israel will save your ass think twice, your Palestinian citizens have plans and you are not on their plan. So, time to add money to your billions your family embezzled and get the Swiss Air tickets ready.
36. who should denounce the murder of a whole nation
Mark ,   US   (02.16.11)
Ok.. I agree with denouncing the minister for his words; but who should denounce Israel for all the innocent people that were killed in the name of establishing a jewish state?
37. To #8
Mustapha ,   Chicago, USA   (02.16.11)
Perfect example of blinded vision. Israel's autrocity stinks to seven's heaven (corruption, occupation, genocide, just too many to count) yet you have the audacity to talk about righteousness or about the "Lord of Heavens" armies?! Such superlative talk (i.e. righteous you vs. lowly us) sure won't score you sympathy points from regular folks. Has your collective conscious been so misguided that you can't even see half-truths in mid-day sun? Just a rhetorical question for you to think about, which you don't need to answer to anyone but yourself. Regards.
38. Salma @ 2
Moragh   (02.16.11)
Why the surprise Salma? You are permanently living in a dream. Shame salma, I feel for you!
39. @6 Mark - Innocents are killed in war
Carl ,   USA   (02.16.11)
But the war when Israel was established was started by a host of Arab nations. It is the Arabs who wantonly murder innocent civilians, whether in times of war or peace. Israel makes every effort to avoid harming civilians, even by putting their own soldiers in greater jeopardy. So where is your denunciation of Arab terrorists who kill in the name of Allah?
40. Jordan has become a bunch of baby killers?
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (02.16.11)
Go figure....And they even condone it now?
41. #5 Jeremy Michigan
(02.16.11)
The silence is not as you think it is, Jeremy. The silence is shock that even In Jordan brutality is tolerated. I thought the King and especially his wife Rania were above that... apparently not. Sad, very sad!
42. They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity in
Avigdor   (02.16.11)
showing why we must not trust them and why we must not take any additional risks toward peace with them.
43. And he is the justice minister.....
(02.16.11)
what a joke thats like making a convicted paedophile in charge of child education. How the Arabs admire murderers is shocking and is only comparable to the manner of SS soldiers in WW2, who similarly valued brutality as something admirable. How they can think that the murder of 7 little girls by an armed Jordanian (Palestinian) soldier is OK defies human logic and plain humanity. In fact even in the animal kingdom you will not find such capricious behaviour. It reminds me how the lebanese were dancing in the street when samir quntar (another Arab who killed a little Israeli girl), was released by Israel in exchange for the bodies of 2 Israeli Soldiers. This attitude and behaviour shows why they are a cursed nation, who have all the world's riches (oil) and capacity (large populations), but are only famous for war (which they don't know how to wage), terrorism, and poverty. Thank G-d I was born a Jew.
44. Whoa people! Jordan has hung the minister out to dry
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (02.16.11)
Don't smear the Jordanian nation, the entire Jordanian gov't and the king because of one Justice Minister that they have repudiated. Arabs are awakening all over the Middle East. Condemn the guilty but at least give the innocent a chance.
45. #14 Jordan is part of Eretz Yisrael.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (02.16.11)
46. All of you insulting arabs
יעקב עגר ,   ישראל   (02.16.11)
YOU are hurting Israel more than the Arabs are. Yes, there are Arab people like this Jordanian filth who spew bullsh*t, but then there are Jews who do the same (you). Give it a break and do something productive. Arab culture > Christian culture any day. Arab culture and religion is MUCH closer to ours than christianity (which is a f*cked up religion anyway). Arabs/Muslims will tell you whats up right away (which is why ahmadinejad is better for Israel than his european counterparts who think the exact same thing) so shut up.
47. the heshimite king is struggling to stop a revolution
zionist forever   (02.16.11)
In Jordan 65% of the population are palestinians and they do not have Jordanian citizenship and this king has also been stripping citizenship from the ones that do in an attempt to make the idea of Jordan as the palestinian state harder to push for. Since the revolution in Egypt Jordanians have been demanding more rights and the PM was fired to try stave off revolution. Now the king is using the tried and tested method of boosting your popularity in the arab world and make sure everybody knows just how much you hate Israel, In Egypt not only the Muslim Brotherhood but other secular presidential candidates have been saying the camp david treaty is obsolete and should either be dropped or renegotiated. From the looks of it could be only a matter of time before the Heshimites start talking about ending the treaty. All these revolutions are making peace deals with palestinians and certainly Syria less likely rather than being a great oportunity for peace like Obama & Europeans are saying. Whats going on in Egypt & Jordan shows that negotiating a peace treaty does not mean that it will bring peace.
48. #39 is very misguided
Mark ,   USA   (02.16.11)
You are really out of touch. what war? seek knowledge. look at documents and photos. all you would see is civilians, kids, and women with no weapons...
49. the King of jordan knows how to pick his top men
jo   (02.16.11)
Hussein Mjali, when is the last time you looked at yourself in the mirror. If and when you do, you will see the face of a vile and sadistic man, a representative of the kingdom of Jordan. A man ,as the custom dictates, doesn't flinch at praising the killer of 7 little girls. A jordanian specialty. With a sophisticated King educated in England, a wordly queen, I must reach the conclusion that no matter what; when arab born, one dies as an arab.
50. Has anyone ever spoken of a so called
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.16.11)
" P E A C E P R O C E S S "...???????? I meant at least the Muslim in the White House...

Iranian Jew ,   LA   (02.17.11)
58. #56 noa YOU NEED THE DICTIONARY OF DOUBLE-TALK
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (02.17.11)
"In an interview with the Jordanian al-Arab al-Youm, Mjali called Israel "the enemy" and "a terror state"." Let me interpret this for noa.Mjali is an enemy of Israel so,ipso facto,Israel must be his enemy. The next stage is that,as Jordan and Israel are enemies and Jordan is a terror state,it follows that Israel is a terror state. You see,it's easy to understand when you grasp the syntax and the mentality. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
