I looked up the US embassy relocation and apparently the local residents weren't exactly thrilled with having it in their neighborhood either (similar complaints - security risk to residents, unattractive "bunker"), with resulting diplomatic tension as the US and Norway fought over where it was going to go (though Norway did offer them alternative sites). What concerns me is that the Israelis are being told to relocate, but despite difficulties in securing a new location, the Norwegian government is pretty much saying "too bad - you're on your own". How about a little help, guys?
