Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (02.23.11)
I'm sure if he decides, he'll be heading to Israel.
4. Godbye to Palestinian democratic dreams
Nora Tel Aviv   (02.23.11)
Elections ? Including free elections in Gaza? Result: The West Bank will become part a of Hamastan. And Hamas, by joining Hizballah and Syria, will do what his master Iran says. Bye bye to Palestinian democratic dreams.
5. They want to steal our country
Arik A ,   Jerusalem Judea   (02.23.11)
Those arabs have 22 States it is not enough for them they want to steal the Land of the Jewish people! Our G-d will not let them rob our country promised by Him to us many many times in our Torah.
6. Just read this, it tells you WHY there...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (02.23.11)
THE Arabs just aren't ready for statehood. As he noted, the first item on the agenda MUST be to bring Hamas back into the PLO (family). That's from a respected, well thought of leader. They are NOT ready until they have a unified government. Point #2: He and the people are disgusted that Hamas has been bought by outside forces (Iran). Therefore cannot be an honest broker for the people of Gaza. Read that carefully, It's NOT the USA, but IRAN that's interfering in the peace process. Point #3: A blanket admission from a trusted Arab leader, that the 1967 borders with "small modification" has always been on the table. So those who argue Israel must go back to the 67 0r 48 borders, WRONG. Both of your points have just been denied, by the Arabs themselves. Point #4:The other BIg LIE; Settlements are against International Law. We hear it so often we may think it's true? It isn't. The fact is a careful review of International Law finds the settlement are NOT illegal. Just another Pallywood lie. Frankly I could go on but I.m a tired. The main points I and the pro-Israel writer's have always argued just been confirmed.
7. Give them thir bloody state and close th borders!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.23.11)
They are going to get it one way or the other, whether we like it or not, and we don't have to help them in any way! Let them have their bloody county and close the borders to ALL Palestinians, jobless, sick, lame and lazy! Stop the "Settlers" from hiring Palestinians to build their settlements and let Abu Mazen provide his people with jobs!
8. one mega problem, if the Saudi regim falls down
ghostq   (02.23.11)
also the pali area will, since most of the funding got to paliwood, they got no self industry and most of the basic civic stractures based on either Israel or Jordan, when the king will fall down the Saudi will cut down the funding, they would prefer the money to run to their own pockets, you can declare but the core of state should be bigger than Saudi's handouts.
9. to the Palestinian
Salman   (02.23.11)
What about all these Arabs palestinians living in Europ or Usa. in the houses of our people, eating their bread, taking money of "refugee", ? Are you able to realise this, ignorant?
10. Israel will close settlements & give them Jerusalem in septe
zionist forever   (02.23.11)
They can declare independence in September but what does that achieve? Do these people think Israel will close down all settlements by September? Do they think Israel will hand over Jerusalem and its holy places in September? Do they think Israel will relax all checkpoints and border crossings in September? The longer their leaders act like children and refuse to talk to Israel and just make pre conditions the harder its going to get. For the past two years they have had the most anti Israel pro arab presidents in the US since Carter as an ally and they have blown it by not taking adavantage of that and Abbas playing hard man. Blame Liberman, blame Bibi, blame Obama. Time to stop blaming everybody but themselves, wake up accept self criticizm so they can make the action needed to fix things.
11. Sooner than September
Rachel ,   US   (02.23.11)
He will get a state sooner than that, but it will be in Jordan.
12. After Tahrir Sq. it's easier than ever: just "free" Jordan!
tom ,   tel aviv   (02.23.11)
13. This guy is far more crazy than Gaddafi...
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.23.11)
L O LLLLLLLLLLL
14. Palestinian state?
daz ,   uk   (02.23.11)
I think the two state solution is dead, Israel have seen to that. Time to start thinking of a one state for all people, all faiths and ethnicities.
15. 13
zionist forever   (02.23.11)
Gaddafi at least gives great speeches when he is not killing his own people. This lot just moan about how unfair things are make demands and don't take any of the actions needed to change anything,
16. Why Does a Non State have a Foreign Minister
Mitch S. ,   USA   (02.23.11)
Why does a non state have a foreign minister? Why not have a foreign minister of Disneyland?
17. The rosy side and the dark side
Sam ,   Canada   (02.23.11)
The rosy side says that Palestinians and Israelis just have to find a solution to such issues as Ariel and Maaleh Adumim and there will be a peace agreement. (for those who want one). The dark side says that Palestinians are picking and choosing UN resolutions they like and trying to convince the US and EU to give them first the West Bank and Jerusalem on a silver platter and then give them Israel proper through a Palestinian right of return into it. This they are trying to do by de-legitimizing Israel worldwide and by making declarations of peace to US,EU and Jewish suckers. Jews have the greatest interest in this so they must keep their eyes wide open.
18. What Excuse Will Arabs Use This Time?
emanon ,   USA   (02.23.11)
I can only imagine (no, I really can't) what excuse the arabs will cook up to walk out on any negotiation, just like they've done all those time before. It has been shown time and time again, the arabs only want a one state solution: their state with no Jews and no Israel.
19. Read my lips Jordan is . . .
AlbertoGA ,   St. George, USA   (02.23.11)
P A L E S T I N E
20. to nr. 16.
cosmopolitist ,   planet earth   (02.23.11)
why does there exist a zionist and rabbis entity/state? then the islamists, christians, every religion , ideology, group/people also have the right on their own states. long live: shlomo sand (the invention of the jewish people), mordechai vanunu, hanin zoabi and nelson mandela.
21. to #14 you r british I doubt if you will give up
ghostq   (02.23.11)
the queen.
22. West Bank is next
imafreeagent ,   Florida   (02.23.11)
If Netanyahu's govenment were rational they would be rushing to plan Israel's evacuation from the occupied territories, and encouraging the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. That's because they would understand that the Arab revolution will not stop at the gates of the West Bank, especially when it is the occupation that unites virtually all Arabs and Muslims in common fury.
23. Pointing out some fun points to this story
Rebecca ,   Modi'in   (02.23.11)
Al-Malki: I don't know about the truth. I don't care that much - Yes well no fine. 2. Anyone could be qualified, based on experience and commitment. - Anyone?? yes that seems to be how they've been selecting officials. 3. President Mahmoud Abbas is the one who talks all the time about 1967 borders with small modifications. He is the one who is very clear about what he says in closed rooms and outside - Have you checked the maps in the school books yet - there is STILL no Israel in them Oh whats the point -
24. #22 Israel knows how to put down revolutions (intifadas).
imalsoafreeagent ,   Land of fruits+nuts   (02.23.11)
With a lot more mercy than Arab dictators, I might add.
25. To: Mitch at No. 16
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.23.11)
Disneyland does have a foreign minister. His name is Mickey Mouse. Ah, okay .... I see where you're going with this!
26. Statehood of fantasyland
Brod ,   USA   (02.23.11)
The Islamist-Jihadists are dreaming of usurping the Land of Israel. The world of AntiSemites and Leftism are aiding them in their crusade against Israel. It is time Israel wakes up and tells the world of the dark forces to go to Hell. Period!
27. State by Septmeber
British Zionist ,   UK   (02.23.11)
For crying out loud we have to be realistic,. There going to get their State if we like or not so for the sake of our beloved country lets just get a deal done NOW before we are forced into things we don't want by the International Community. We can not hold off for ever. Let's accept it and get on with it. We can always close down the borders and break relations if they don't play by the rules but at least we will have the Western powers off our backs.
28. #27 British Zionist - Most generous of U
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (02.23.11)
Wanting to give away what doesn't belong to you in the first place The Arab fools had a state, way back in 1947,when the UN gave it to them Arabs rejected it, preferring to attacks Israel instead BTW-75% of Jordan was stolen from the Jews by the British Government when the mal-adminsitered the Mandate You really should check your facts before shooting from the hip, you now have a hole in your foot
29. To: No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.23.11)
Occupation? Really? I thought it was high unemployment, rampant inflation and poorly stocked shelves. When Ghaddafi suggested that "all 'Palestinians'" march on Jerusalem, the Revolution turned on him. I guess the Libyans got a little upset that Ghaddafi was thinking about the ersatz "Palestinians" and not of them. In case you haven't noticed, of all the reasons that have been put forth in all the countries that have been affected by civilian unrest, not one -- NOT ONE -- has included the ersatz "Palestinians." You need to rethink your "theory." The ersatz "Palestinians" are a ship that has sailed.
30. TALKING ABOUT THIS,TALKING ABOUT THAT,TALKING....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (02.23.11)
"Al-Malki: .... We are talking about democracy in Palestine; we are talking about a multi-party system, transparency and accountability. We are talking about things that might not be available in other areas of our region, but (this is not the case) in Palestine. ".....so he says. When will all this talking stop and implementation begin? And,if they're so good at talking, when is the PA going to begin talking to the Israel government to negotiate a final settlement? It's all just the usual hot air designed to impress the apologists in the EU and the UN. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
