Where do you come up with this stuff. The guy's from downstate Illinois. So he speaks Hebrew. Lots of Americans do. He'll be Obama's ambassador and speak for the Obama administration. More important will be who replaces him on the NSC. Maybe somebody from AAI since the current NSC does not seem to understand what is going on in the Arab street. Jim Zogby or Rashid Khalidi or Jim Abizaid come to mind.

Your problem is that you appear to be suffering from some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder that focuses all your animosity on Israel and/or American Jews. However, you're completely oblivious to the fact that some of the most malevolent American ambassadors were the ones who were posted to Syria and Iraq. Two in particular come to mind...Talcott Seelye and Edward Peck, both of whom never met an Arab despot they didn't love...even the most virulently anti-American ones.
