33. Don't fire back Bibi, quietly assassinate Hamas leadership.
(02.24.11)
Their goal is to draw Israel into the uprisingS that are occuring throughout the ME. They want the focus on Jew/Israel hatred so the Islamists can gain power in Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Tunisia, etc. We MUST stay 10 steps ahead of them. Take-out their leadership ...stealthly.
34. The cult of no peace strikes again. Such "peace partners."

37. They make propaganda with the Quran
Robert ,   NY USA   (02.24.11)
Their claim on Israel is actually from a Hadith or a waqf. Well, the Jews came from the Holocaust and opressed for over 2,000 years. So according to a waqf, they should be charitable and give it to them. But they don't actually follow Islam anyway. They just hate Jews because there isn't much of anything else their corrupt leaders allow them to do to cover the corruption.
38. Arabs, know what you wish for!
mark Damon ,   Los Angeles, usa   (02.24.11)
Arabs, look around you/ all your countries are run by violent dictators. Your countries are all under flames. You keep supporting violence and it will bite you right back just as it did so many times before, e/g., Hezbollah & the radical Hamas Loonies. Remember God is on Israeli's sides , the side of civilization, and justice, not Loony Islamic regimes or their terrorists.
39. Give them their medicine
Brod ,   USA   (02.24.11)
Israel should give them Hell-fast and furious. NO entity like Hamastan should think that they could attack Israel with impunity. Israel would need to do some reshuffling of its key functionaries. General Yaalon should take over as Defense Minister. Barak had his chance but it took him more than a month to pummel Gaza without achieving the desired result. The fanatical Hamas is still in control of Gaza. Israel would need strong Defense leaders who could do the job of 1967 or better.
40. Oh well, just like the boilng frog: the'll get used to it

41. As December 2008, this is a RESPONSE to BARAK's PROVOCATIONS
HOW IT HAPPENED-2008   (02.24.11)
Regardless of what Ehud Barak said-- in 2008 --he ordered the Israel Army and Air Force to provoke the Hamas into breaking the truce. This is a summary of the events prior to the CAST LEAD the massive Israeli attack on Gaza. I omitted the stories on humanitarian hardships, which the Israeli siege causes to Gaza civilians, and the list hereunder includes only `hard news`, quoted from HAARETZ. * 11-02-2008 Avi Issaschar reports: `Appeasement between Hamas and Fatah will hamper Israel’s interests. * 11-05-2008 The IDF killed 6 Hamas operators inside the Gaza Strip. In response Hamas fired 30 Qassam rockets at Israel. Nobody was hurt. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum told the media that `Hamas asked Egypt to intervene to cause Israel to respect the truce`. On that day Amos Harel described the Israeli attack as the `Biggest [Israeli] attack inside the Gaza Strip since the truce`. He wrote that the IDF used `special forces”. * 11-07-2008 Haaretz Editorial called on Israel’s leaders to show restraint. * 11-09-2008 Amira Hass reports: `Hamas PM Ismail Hanniye: Hamas government is willing to recognize Israel in the 1967 borders. Hanniye is quoted saying: `If Israel recognizes the national rights of the Palestinians, we will extend the truce`. * 11-10-2008 Amos Harel reports: `IDF officers: A renewed conflict in the [Gaza] strip expected next month`. * 11-4-2008 Amos Harel: Israel’s Army chose to `return to operate inside the Gaza Strip… The truce won’t last much longer`. The same day, November 4, the Israeli Air Force killed Hamas fighters. In response, according to Amos Harel: `The truce is collapsing. Hamas fires Qassams and mortar shells`. * 11-17-2008 an article signed by 4 Haaretz journalists says that `Senior IDF officers` warned the country’s politicians against calling for re-occupation of the Gaza Strip. The officers maintained that such tough expressions cause Hamas to break the truce. Haaretz reports that PM Olmert ordered the IDF to prepare for a large-scale attack against Hamas. A separate article says: `Israel killed 4 Hamas fighters`. * 11-19-2008 Haaretz reports: `Hamas attempts to restrain and prevent other [Palestinian] organizations from firing at Israel`. * 11-23-2008 Ravid Barak writes: `The [Israeli] defense establishment calls on the [Israeli] government to stop [the coming] elections in the Palestinian Territories`. * 11-30-2008 Haaretz reports: 8 Israeli soldiers were wounded by mortar attack. * 12-03-2008 Haaretz reports: Two Palestinian children were killed by the Israeli Air Force. Ramzi Dahaini, 15 and Ahmed Hamad 17. Israel claims the two were members of a mortar unit. Hamas responded by shooting Qassam rockets. Nobody was hurt. * 12-09-2008 Haaretz Editorial: `Hamas proved that it could maintain its truce promises, almost to the letter. ` * 12-13-2008 Haaretz story title: “The IDF will increase its attacks across the [Border] Fence in the [Gaza] Strip. The paper reported: IDF paratroopers killed 4 Palestinians inside the Gaza Strip, near Kisufim. * 12-17-2008 Qassam rockets were fired at Israel, after Israeli special `Border Guard` units killed a senior Jihad Leader near Jenin [in the Occupied West Bank]. Nobody was hurt by the rockets. * 12-19-2008 Hamas announced that it will end the truce. * 12-20-2008 The Israeli Air Force killed a Fatah man near Beit Lahiyya. * 12-23-2008 Yoel Marcus a senior Haaretz analyst writes: `Israel decided to [launch the big] attack`.

44. Laughable stupidity of anti-Israel writers
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (02.24.11)
Look if you bring a knife to gun fight whose fault is that? Israel's? So you think if you target civilians (to kill them) and miss, that you get free pass? Frankly Israel needs to respond much stronger. Then we have the liars, who accuse Israel of daily attacks. Pure lies, Israel to my knowledge has never committed an unprovoked attack. It seems you can dish it out, but can't take it, because your yellow. Unless your shooting civilians in ambush attacks, or unprovoked attacks (with rocket and mortar fire) your gutless. So when your not lying and killing people in unprovoked attacks what are you doing? Oh that right, hiding among the civilians and using them as human shields, what a bunch of cowards. To think you have defenders sickens me.

Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (02.24.11)
the Arabs launch rockets on our civilian population in Beer Shava and Ofqim. Face it, Israel's detractors, and internalize, rationally, who is eager to bring about an accommodation of peaceful coexistence and who, on the other hand, is eager to bring about peace without the existence of the other, of the Jews...!! Is Obama and his supporters in America listening...??!!

49. BIRDI #7
M ,   JERUSALEM   (02.24.11)
birdi if you have been traumatized from falling pipes for 9 years what can the people of gaza say that have had their homes demolished by half ton bombs for the past 30 years or so. Just wondering birdi have you ever burried one of your children do to a rocket explosion or bomb??? probably not. most likely you never will, but in regards to statistics almost every home in gaza has burried a family member do to some kind of israeli military arsenal. Its like saying every family in beer sheva has lost a family member. you are a retarded person that knows absolutely nothing about the current situation and have more than likely been brain washed by rabbis. In order for you to feel what other people feel around here i think you need to trade places with a family in gaza for a bit to walk a mile in their shoes and then condemn whats right an wrong
50. 13#
m ,   jeru   (02.24.11)
ricardo is actually right. There doesn't go a day when a gazan is killed by israeli fire whether it be a sniper shooting , or a bomb falling honesty abu yussef el yahudi your almost as dumb as birdi over there.

53. M. Jerusalem #42: Blaming Israel
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (02.24.11)
for any suffering which Palestinians have gone through is a grandiose distraction. The problem for Arabs in Gaza is their own (immoral, corrupt) governments as well as the rest of the Arab world which uses Gazans as a ploy to keep attention on Israel as opposed to their own ugly dictatorships, violence against their own and misuse of funds. This is now evident in all the continued uprisings throughout the mideast and should be even to people like you who want to target Israel for your own problems. As an example of your own ignorance re the effects of Israel in Gaza, Israel provided infrastructure while still engaged in this little enclave, jobs in agriculture and even the steel sewage pipes. As soon as Israelis left Gaza (our mistake), the sewage pipes were pulled out in order to make missiles and rockets which could then be launched against Israeli citizens. Of course, all Gazans suffered due to the resulting pollution and your propaganda machine has since blamed the beknighted effects on Israel and the international community. Typical! As to the greenhouses, rather than continuing with the positive economic effects of producing food, Hamas destroyed them and built, in their stead, launching pads for its rockets and mortars. Now, you blame Israel for all the "deaths" in Gaza, mainly due, however, to the careless Palestinian administration and the use made of it by your own Arab dictatorships. The effects of Israel in Gaza before the pull-out were to brighten the atmosphere, improve medical facilities and increase economic benefits. Now that you've lost us, you want to pull the same old same old blame game against Israel. When, if ever, are you going to take responsibility for your own problems and do something positive about it? The "blame game" has really gotten old and fewer and fewer of us are listening.
54. another correction, Salma

It's called ISRAEL, not Palestine!

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.24.11)
Should we nuke 'em? Yes, we absolutely should, but we probably won't. At least not yet. But we should definitely step up the extent of the retaliation. Punish them. With all eyes focused on Libya, now would be a very good time to do precisely that.
56. #49 Hamas begging IDF to bomb Gaza
Cynthia ,   USA   (02.24.11)
Save your sob stories. These grad bombs are a provocation. Thousands of kassams and bombs have been fired on Israeli communities in order for the Palestinians to sustain the conflict. And let's not forget the work accidents from careless bomb makers. Birdi certainly does understand Palestinian terror.
57. # 49
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.24.11)
M, Jerusalem, you must be an Arab. I dont need to trade places with people in Gaza in order to feel what they feel. It is enough for me to know what the people of southern Israel (my people) have to go through at the hands of your people. Whether I have ever buried a child to a rocket explosion is not your business. "Brain washed by the Rabbis" LOL, you are joking. Its like this you moron, your people bomb my people, the IAF bombs your cells. You dont like that|? then quit bombing southern Israel. Believe me, you will not get one iota of land by bombing us.You will only get retaliation & so you should.
58. # 50
