All the lobbys you mention deal in domestic US affairs, pressing the interests of sections of US commerce and society. The Israel Lobby, as its name implies, pushes the interests of a foreign nation, and in the case of AIPAC, the policys of a foreign political force, the LIKUD. a Lobby that put foreign interests before national interests has all the makings of a fifth column and walk a thin line bordering high treason. This obnoxious contraption will blow up in your face one day before to soon.
32. Excellent Article! Israel should emulate the US constitution

as a blue print- most essentially, the checks and balances that the US has, and how the countries leaders are each elected, not proppped up by being in a party for more years. Its not a business, its a government stupid! You dont climb up the ladder by kissing party tuchus, you win the hearts and minds of the people. If there is one thing Bibi can do top create a positive legacy it is to spearhead the transformation of Israel's government in the above manner.

OPEC has a lobby. The Chinese Manufacturing Association has a lobby. The Organization of American States (Latin and Central America) has a lobby. The Brazil Sugar Exporters Association has a lobby. Et cetera, et cetera. So you have no idea what you are talking about. When that happens, it is usually best to refrain from discourse on the topic. That just might be the best piece of advice you will receive today. Put another way -- Shut up. You are making a complete fool of yourself.

High treason? No such thing in the United States, we have plain vanilla "treason" and "high crimes and misdemeanors." You've been reading too much John Le Carré. Good luck with that one, by the way. The last treason trial in the United States was that of Aaron Burr in 1803. That said, if the Walker Family, Aldrich Ames and Robert Hansen were not tried for treason, you'd have a tough time justifying a charge of treason against a political lobby of which there are hundreds, if not thousands, most of them pushing far more dubious causes than the support of the sole democracy and only stable and dependable ally of the United States in the entire Middle East.
