1. Absolute scandal-Free Gilad Shalit Now!
Ussishkin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (03.02.11)
It isn't only the current and previous Prime Ministers who have behaved scandalously in efforts to release Gilad Shalit. We too as the people he was serving have a resposnibility to demand action for his freedom and we are not doing so sufficiently loudly for our elected government to be pressed to do the maximum. We are a people known not to allow any of our soldiers and our citizens to experience this terrible ordeal, whether in release of prisoners or in feats of extraordinary bravery with hostages. Weseem to be shrugging our shoulders over this as with so much else that is ailing us. It is time to stand up and shout Free Gilad Shalit Now! Would any of us with sons in the IDF not expect national support? Where is our nation? What is it doing to bring Gilad Shalit home? Stand up and prove that we have not forgotten him - Free Gilad Shalit Now!

Totally with you on this,Ussishkin! Bringing Gilad home is vitaly important to save Gilad's life and lift the morale of the IDF and the Israeli people, as well as the immage of Israel. Gilad was captured by the chamas on the sovereign undisputed land of Israeli while not in combat. It is soon 5 years, that we seemingly do nothing. We must not stop to rally and demand all and every action of Israeli Government to bring our innocent soldger home. And if it takes to exterminate some of their murderers, sitting in our prisons to motivate them-so be it...It is high time for Bibi to put his actions where his mouth is...
3. Ussishkin's REAL reason
Freedom for Gilad!   (03.02.11)
Of course nothing does he want less than Shalit's final freedom. As a real far-leftist this must be his stance, certainly. It's well known from the Shinbet's Amos Gilad who testified to the Knesset's relevant committee that Hamas believes from the general reactions of the Israeli public discourse that they can get more by blackmailing Israel through the usueful idiots working for them. So, the deduction must be clear. People like his lik are working in the other (polar opposite) direction behind the scenes with their public agitation on Netanyahu. We now know your game baby.
4. #1, what support hasn't he or his parents got?
Danny   (03.02.11)

Jennie ,   Us/Israel   (03.02.11)
What is it you exactly talking about, Danny ? When a soldger is being kidnapped on your sovereign soil by an enemy infiltrator, the only acceptable action is needed is a relief of that trooper at all acceptable cost. That is what needed to be done in all the 4 years since Gilad was kidnapped...And that what was alwas done before by the IDF and previous Governments thru Israeli history: dead or alive, our troops were always brought home ! that is the only kind of support Gilad's parents and Our People need need, Danny .
6. Excellent idea #2
02.03.2011   (03.02.11)
Start somewhere. How about the prisoners with lots of blood on their hands. And keep going thru for a count of 1 to 1. By that I mean if a prisoner has taken 10 lives, then 10 lives of his closest should be taken. Call it murder, call it what you like, but in no time especially if it is the family of a terrorist that Hamas is desperate to get back, and I can think of one in particular right now. Show the terrorists you mean business and Shalit will soon be home.
7. HE IS IN GAZA , IDIOT
RAMALLAH   (03.02.11)
8. Then get up and find it out !
Ben Zion   (03.02.11)
This is something of the silliest and weakest words I have heard - this government is a total disappointment !
9. Especially for 3 - and the other nay-sayers
Ussishkin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (03.02.11)
I doubt that this will make any diffrence to you, you've already decided that this is another Lefty plot - how petty can you possibly be? Silly question really, look at what you write - but I'll let you into a little secret, Gilad is a cousin of mine. So it's a matter of family blood for me. It shouldn't actually make a difference. Gilad Shalit is every Israeli citizen's son. It ought to be a matter of blood for you too. Clearly it isn't. National responsibility isn't in your make-up. As to the other shouter, can you recall anyone yelling "THEY"RE IN ENTEBBE! THAT"S UGANDA, IDIOT"????
10. With all due respect Benjy Boy...
Yunan Amram ,   tel aviv   (03.02.11)
Are we going to see Shalit free in our life time? With all due respect Benjy, how do you know that Shalitt is still alive... Fact is you are incompetent Mr. Prime minister. Fact is you know nothing. Arent you ashamed to say that you do not know where he is?
11. RE: #9
Free Gilad Shalit!   (03.02.11)
Your words re: my intentions and motives are so cheap and preposterous that it wouldn't even warrant a rebuke and a response it's so below the belt. Clearly, you cannot handle the reasoned argument (vis-รก-vis the *effect* of ALL this open crying and nonstop agitation) I am talking about. I gave a credible reason. You don't understand a thing. Too bad. Only Gilad Shalit is the REAL victim of your (plural - the dumbed-down low-IQ part of Israeli society...) actions here.

Yehoshua Beiteinu ,   Bet HaKerem   (03.03.11)
This is sad sign of how no heart your words are.You have no respect when truth is told to you. You are too easy with vicuous langage and too quick to blame someone else Lefty? You are a Jew?
13. #5, key phrase is "acceptable cost"
Danny   (03.03.11)
14. #9, what do you plan to say
Danny   (03.03.11)
to the victims of the terrorists released in return for Gilad?
15. Bibi is impotent: He should take a Hamas viagra pill
Brian ,   Judean Peoples Front   (03.03.11)
And he should immediately declare that all Hamas and Jihad prisoners are in solitary confinement 24/7 indefinitely. He should announce that they will get zero visits and be allowed no communications at all. No sunlight, no outdoor exercise. Three meals a day and a bucket in the corner that gets changed every week. Just like Gilad Shalit. Bibi is a loser who is showing no backbone. He should immediately show the families of the Hamas and Jihad prisoners that Israel will match the conditions that Gilad Shalit is being held under. If the Pals don't like it, then they can either cry into the sea or allow the Red Cross to visit Shalit...in which case we'll allow the Red Cross a single visit with each Pal prisoner.
16. 14
