I have to agree with you, however this was the same policy under Bush in which I believed was a flawed policy. It is mind boggling that the US would fund an Army who's government is controlled by the "A-Team" of terrorist, however I do believe this policy will be short lived because it is just a matter of time before the Lebanese Army which is controlled by Hezbollah will show it's true colors and the US will have to stop giving that aid.

All these people in the state department are clever. If some of their actions doesn't seem logical the reason is only that their targets and goals are different. The actions should be used to analyze their real goals and not believe their rhetoric. Like in Egypt's case Obama's goal is clearly to promote Muslim Brotherhood to run the country.
