1. Wow!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.03.11)
FIFTH run-in with the law at the tender age of eleven! His brothers arrested as well. This isn't a child; this is a juvenile delinquent. His parents are clearly in need of parenting classes! I wouldn't set too much store by a "Palestinian" hospital's diagnosis. We've seen this all before.
2. Sarah??
Jake ,   ?   (03.03.11)
Let him be a delinquent, stone-thrower, aggresive, or any other thing... but under no MORAL, LEGAL, or any under any reason should an ELEVEN year old kid should beaten up by no other person. Punish those who hurted him.
3. They thought he was a settler

Nathan ,   Italy   (03.03.11)
It is not important why this child was convicted, but he is still a 11 years child, he cannot be treated like this. Israel cannot allow itself such a behaviour! This clip was shown three days ago in one Italian public TV channel. We could not believe that those were Israeli policemen! No ideology nor any other motivation can justify such a shame and I really hope that those policeanimals (certainly not men!) will be judged.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.03.11)
What we have is clear evidence that he has had five encounters with the law. What we do NOT have is clear evidence that he was in any way mistreated. We have only his "word" (as if an eleven year-old juvenile delinquent's "word" counts for much) and an unauthenticated account from a "Palestinian" hospital that this juvenile delinquent suffered injuries while in custody. Not the most credible of sources. Perhaps the ones who should be punished are the parents, who are responsible for raising this miscreant, and the hospital, for making grand accusations without offering a shred of supporting proof.
7. Police story does not add up
Adam Helberg ,   USA   (03.03.11)
The boy threw stones and he should be reprimended, but the police story does not add up. If he felt unwell he should have been seen by a doctor and injuries documented, not released. Once someone is in policy custody the police is responsible for their welfare.
8. the arabs among us
jo   (03.03.11)
If the palis are capable ( and they are ) of sending their kids to blow themselves up, to send them out with molotov coctails, or throwing stones, only shows the superb training they get home, at school and their " famed ' children's camps. If the palis doctors, nurses the entire medical staff, worked with professional thugs in order to fabricate the al-dura affair, and have their ambulances filled with killers and missiles (admitted by unifil and the UN) also shows the intense training they get from their master Islam. Islamic prowess is always at best when: lie. cheat, distord, deceive, fabricate,is part of any exchange; lawfull or not. They no longer know the difference.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.03.11)
How many eleven year old stone-throwing juvenile delinquents can you think of that cry and say "I am just a little boy ..... blah, blah, blah." Even on their fifth encounter with the law. Some of the talkbackers here are evidently entirely incapable of logical thought.
11. Stop the Stone Throwing!

"Then five officers caught me – I recognized them because they had pepper spray" WTF ??!!? No one read the article it seems, not even the one who wrote the title.
13. His name is really Mohammed al-Dura?

14. Parents
Dave from Brazil ,   Sao Paulo   (03.04.11)
I really don't think that boy is lying, and it is unacceptable that the officers beat him this way. They should be punished if found guilty. The parents, however, should be more severely punished. Not once did the father condemn the fact his son was throwing stones, in fact, I really think he supports it!

21. the harsh reality
observer ,   Egypt   (03.04.11)
Since 2000, more than 6,500 children have been taken into custody, some as young as just five years old. Most children are arrested for the crime of throwing stones, either at settlements, the wall or Israeli military vehicles. They are then hooded, handcuffed and bundled into the back of a military jeep, where they are frequently forced lie on the floor and regularly subjected to physical and verbal attack by young Israeli soldiers. Whilst Palestinians are subject to military law, Israeli minors in the illegal settlements live under Israel’s civil code. Palestinian children are classified as adults from 16, while for Israeli children the age is 18. Palestinian children in the West Bank are tried in a military court, Israelis in a civilian one. An Israeli child has to see a judge within 24 hours of arrest; a Palestinian within 8 days. An Israeli minor can be held on remand for 15 days, a Palestinian three months. the harsh reality
22. This kid is a real trouble maker
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.04.11)
The fact is that he tripped over his shoelaces after fleeing from his usual stone throwing endeavors He did his best to injure others, Kismet caught up with him At this point in time, he deserves time to recuperate, in a Juvenile detention facility At the rate he's going, he'll be in an adult prison soon enough
23. Nathan, it's a shame
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.04.11)
This kid should have been locked up the very first time he did his rock throwing The shame is that Israel didn't send him to a Juvenile prison when he committed his first crime Let's say that this little turd had a gun, shot someone, would you want him to go free ? Concern yourself with your Prime Minister; he has more than enough trouble because he was caught patronizing whores, underage ones at that
24. #7 Adam Helberg
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.04.11)
This kid has a history of perpetrating these same types of crimes His elders instructed him to throw rocks because they feared that if they did, they would go to jail and do hard time This turd was well rehearsed, after all he already been arrested almost a half a dozen times Palestinian doctors always affirm these injuries, if they didn't they themselves would be injured by whoever asked them to perjure their testimony about the alleged injuries These are the same type of Doctors that Ambulance chasing lawyers use, they’ll like through their teeth as ordered
25. Throwing stones
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (03.04.11)
Strange kids- Throwing stones, burning kinder gartens, burning rubbish containers, assaulting and robbing old women in Denmark, but here in Denmark, the kids are criminally inclined from a tender age- the question is: Is it a trait or a gene that turn these kids into aggressive kids or is it the education that they (don't receive from their parents?
26. amazing
(03.04.11)
I am sorry but really I am laughing so hard reading this article. The first print related to this story has the video preset and rolling for the path of police vehicle. If he did not throw the stone why did he run? All of a sudden he is beaten and badly handled by police who in that video was restraining a fighting boy in their hands and respectful to his mother. If You cant handle the consequences don’t throw the stones. Stones don’t have eyes to redirect themselves. Fairly sure if he was beaten in the custody of the police that people claim beat him so brutally there would have been markings as well as discoloration on his face while at the station. I am sick and tired of things being setup in advance and edited and treated by those involved as worthless. Now we have here this article the father claiming my son didn’t throw stones. I honestly find it really funny considering that with a video in hand it can still be used against you Palestine worthless dogs that like to do these things. Why do i have it in my mind that you beat the shit out of your own son to this condition. Hope it helps you to abuse your own. Shabbat shalom
27. #21 observer - harsh reality INDEED
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (03.04.11)
Nice to read such DRAMATIC account from a FERTILE mind that is clearly wired to simply REGURGITATING sweeping statements and CHERRY-PICKED details from pro-pali sources. Laughable too is observer's LACK of credibility MOCKS his own namesake. Otherwise he would have known that Israel is doing what OTHER sovereign countries are ENTITLED to re DIFFERENT laws pertaining to its citizens and NON-citizens. Look at how US or UK treat their OWN law-breaking citizens differently from HOSTILE entities - including MINORS - who are NOT citizens. Outside of their OWN turf, the US and its coalition partners also arrest and JAIL child soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. These young HOSTILE participants too are NOT covered under local laws governing minors. And of course observer is OBLIVIOUS to the cold hard FACT that palis USE their own CHILDREN as HUMAN SHIELDS, front line soldiers & runners, and SUICIDE BOMBERS against Israel and its citizens. Yes, IGNORANCE is bliss for this "harsh reality" observer.

Please be a little more specific. Are you talking about Danish children generally, or the children of Arab and Danish emigrants to Denmark specifically?

JUDAH THE LION   (03.04.11)
Tell your children to behave not to throw stones, molotov, stay at home and make your homework, study, and they will be safe.If your Children will go out to make trouble buy throwing stones, etc with the blessing and encourgments of their parents, then they must expect they will be punished.Look at your own security and police forces, they shoot at the stones throwers.Keep your house in order
30. Yes, typical jewish "justice"
Jane, Czech Republic   (03.04.11)
If you are jew and you murder a non-jew, you will be judged and punished NOT for a crime, but only for offence or will be judged and punished never. But if you are non-jew, Palestinian particularly, you are giulty from moment of your birth. You can be completely innocent, but for jews you are guilty. So, while the Jewish murderers of totally innocent Palestinian are investigated at large and threatens them with a penalty only for offence, a small Palestinian boy was taken to jewish jail and there beaten. Jews, you´ve really totally crazy.
