what a conceitedly arrogant little stage player on the world stage.
2. get rid of the boy.....

3. Too bad Obama won't step down himself.
Charles ,   Paris, FRANCE   (03.03.11)
4. Don't you start down this path, Obama
Cameron ,   USA   (03.04.11)
Once you start opening the door, events & momentum will pull us into that N. African mess. The only folk who need to muster up for this matter are the Libyan opposition. If they have to go through a bloodbath struggle to topple The Joker, so be it. An internal crisis to be handled by the Libyans alone, NOT US!
5. Give us all a breather.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (03.04.11)
Obama is a pacifist.
6. Obama, again, demands things he can't
Benjamin ,   USA   (03.04.11)
deliver and by so doing decreases US's position in the region and the world. This is another illustration how much the present US President is incapable of handling international affairs in general and affairs related to the Middle East in particular.
7. Hussein Obama is the real danger for

9. 5 Steve - Not Enough US Casualties?
Mark ben Josuf ,   USA   (03.04.11)
Just How many US casualties are you looking for? We have 3 wars going now and you seem to want to add a fourth. Bush told us Iraq would last weeks, not months. We're 9 years in and a $Trillion in debt on that one alone, with 4500 dead and 50,000 wounded on just the US side. How many of your kids and your neighbors kids are you out to sacrifice? And for What Purpose? Any thing is an act of war. If we shoot at them, they can and have occasionally responded, not always conventionally. When the US makes war, sometimes, the other side makes war back. AND it costs money. Who should we tax to pay for it?
10. #1 that little stage player is 42 years in power

12. Stalemate?
Harry ,   Canada   (03.04.11)
'stalemate over time might become bloody'. What a genius this man Obama is. This is the leader of the civilzed world? No wonder there are riots all over the arab world. No wonder the US has become a laughing stock. He should write a book on philosophy. The man is a bumbling fool.
13. No Fly Zone!
Mark ,   USA   (03.04.11)
How about a no fly zone for Obama, around Washington?
14. @11 Enough is enough!!!!Let the Eurowimps do it....
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (03.04.11)
We should let the Eurowimps do it. We have enough on our plate. That would take in excess of a hundred planes and not one American life is worth the Middle East/ Africa. We don't have the money and we need to give our military a rest. Let the Arab League and African Union step up and do it. They said they where considering it so let's see what they can do and how long that idea stays on the table. Libya is a Muslim country the people will not accept us Americans with open arms. Some will accept us the majority will not.
15. In respect of Arabs and Islam
Sagi   (03.04.11)
it is high time that Ameica and the civilized world stopped "considering" and started "doing".

18. #16
03.04.2011   (03.04.11)
If you are talking about Tony Blair, I am in agreement with you. Tony managed to hash up everything.
19. Obama, Obama and more Obama
04.03.2011   (03.04.11)
The boy in the White House thinks he is smart. Let him be. He believes it, so leave him to dream on. Immediately impeach him. Don't give him the chance of another (almost) two years to finish off America once and for all. He's muslim and even he couldn't and wouldn't deny it. Leaving him in office now you won't need to impeach him... he will have finished America off just the way he planned. I find him a low-class despicable creature. Who knows, maybe satan in the flesh!
20. Gaddaffi -v- Obuma
Vicky ,   Ashkelon Israel   (03.04.11)
As much as I hate the Lybian despot, and his ilk. This is a Civil War and nothing to do with the UN OR USA. Exactly the same as OUR continuos Civil war with the Arabs in Israeli Land. Obuma concentrate on the big problems in your own country and butt out!
21. please president barak hussain broken record shut up
zionist forever   (03.04.11)
The man is becoming tedious now he keeps saying the same thing over and over like a broken record. Gaddafi is not going to take any interest in anything you have to say. The protestors want the air strikes and no fly zone that Obama will keep threatening to carry out and never get round to doing anything about. The man is out of his depth and never had what it took for the responsibility that comes with the job. He is an idealist. Trillion dollar+ healthcare reforms at a time when the country is broke. Hiis one sided attaitude to the so called peace process where Abbas can do no wrong even when he refuses to talk. Obama also have an obsession with muslim outreach even going s far as making one of NASAS official policies to do muslim outreach work.
22. The US CinC and a working no-fly zone over Libya...
seadog1946 ,   Caven Point, NJ   (03.04.11)
would initially require an attack on Libyan anti-aircraft sites (killing Libyans) before confronting Libyan aircraft (killing more Libyans). A word of advice, Mr. President... "if you break it, you own it." - Colin Powell
23. #18 no current PM Cameron asked for the no fly zone, Ynet
(03.04.11)
Ynet missed that part out, him raising the idea.
24. He said he was going to live and die in Libya
Ypip ,   Canada   (03.04.11)
Hopefully the second componant of that statement comes very very quickly.
25. Obama fell 7 points in 7 days in the polls!
michael redbourn ,   Arad - Israel   (03.04.11)
Is the 50% of America that "likes him but not his policies" finally waking up? The man is an academic that got thrown in at the deep-end and is completely out of his depth. He's drowning and taking the US with him!
26. Actually Berlusconi suggested the no-fly zone first.
michael redbourn ,   Arad - Israel   (03.04.11)
Since then, both Sarcozy and Cameron have played footsie with the idea and Cameron has mentioned sending arms. The no-fly zone should have been set up several days ago and weapons should be arriving non-stop. I quite like several things that Cameron's said lately (incl. his comments on Islam) but talks cheap and whisky costs money. Let's see some action!
27. #18 - yes like bringing peace to N. Ireland
michael redbourn ,   Arad - Israel   (03.04.11)
which no previous PM had managed to do.
28. Obama !!!!!!!
Mohamed Hasanein Mou ,   Cairo Egypt   (03.04.11)
Mr Obama are you from Libya ? Mr Obama are you from the Arab world ? If no please keep your mouth shut because you have nothing to say in our country . Gaddafi and the rest must be removed by the people of Libya and certenly not by the Americans or the British and nor by others.
29. 26
zionist forever   (03.04.11)
I dont support the idea of sending weapons because whose hands they will fall into and if there is civil was when Gaddafi is gone the fewer weapons the better. I do agree there should have been a no fly zone days ago but there is no political will for it . What the US can do is carry out hit and run raids against strategic targets like airbases. Destroy at least most of Gaddafi's hardware and there will probably be no need for the no fly zone The US has heavy stealth bombers and stealth fighters equipped with laser guided smart bombs so physically there is nothing stopping the US from carrying out hit and run raids the only problem is politics and the only way to get around that is for Obama to show the leadership expected from the president of the United States.
30. To: Michael at No. 27
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.04.11)
Hate to burst your bubble, Michael, but the "peace" to Northern Ireland came because Ireland (the Republic and the six northern counties) was doing fantastically economically, with one of the youngest populations in the European Union, with unemployment virtually nil, and no inflation. But then it all came crashing to an end. And you know what? The provos are coming back. Slowly, slowly, the provos are inching back. The Irish Republic is presently an economic basket case; Northern Ireland is even worse. Blair is a fool. He didn't bring "peace" to Northern Ireland -- I'm not sure anything can -- he reaped the benefit of being the prime minister at a time when the economy was working perfectly. Don't give him credit for something that happened because of economic forces beyond his control. Also because of economic forces beyond his control, the political situation is Northern Ireland is deteriorating. Market forces rule the world.
