Five days is a lull? Palestinian anti-personnel rockets fired at civilians only every 5 days is "quiet"? Somebody please send Ilana Curiel and her editor(s) back to Journalism 101.

Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (03.10.11)
So rockets were fired last Friday, then Saturday-Tuesday it was quiet (no rockets fired) then the rockets started again on Wednesday. So the new definition of a lull, is 4 days without rocket fire at civilian targets (War Crimes under International Law), Great! Maybe you should give Hamas a medal and reward them in the UN as peacemakers. Then pass a condemnation of Israel for building houses...a non-violent act that puts no innocent life at risk...and violated no International laws, brilliant. People wonder why the UN loses respect in the USA and is not trusted by Israel as a fair arbiter? Did you know that from 2002 when the war officially ended in the Congo until 2007 that 2.1 million people have died? Yet in that same period of time their are more Resolutions against Israel, with probably less than 2500 deaths in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict?. What wrong with that picture? In any hospital they set up a triage, meaning you treat the worst first, not the UN. The put the worst on the back burner. Why? Because 57 of the 192 member nations are Muslim. Many more countries are blackmailed by OPEC. That's why? What a nutty story.
5. Brian, It's only because Qassams are lousy rockets . . .
Dave ,   USA   (03.10.11)
. . . and they rarely hit anything, that this can be considered "quiet". Anyway, there were 5 days of "quiet" most likely only because the Jihadists were busy. They were trying to organize more "Day of Rage" events as well as figure out where to put the new rockets from Iran. And those aren't Qassams. They are grads and larger rockets that couldn't fit in the tunnels. Israel, finish what Moses and Joshua started, and annex Gaza and the West Bank. The outcome is better for both sides than a two-state solution. Or, you can just wait for the Muslims to work up the courage to start another war. That's where this wave of "democracy" is headed eventually.
6. Take back Phil,strip,cut water,elecitricy&fuel=no rockets

7. It's beyond my comprehension why we
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (03.10.11)
don't cut all electricity, gas and food supplies to Gaza as well as depriving all Arab prisoners from Gaza Red Cross visits, visits from family, lawyers, television and educational pursuits until, and if, Gilad Schalit is safely returned. When we do that, we will earn self-respect as well as the international community's even if, officially, they condemn us. A tough Israel with purpose is the only way we can survive. In the meantime, Gilad Schalit suffers for us all.
