zionist forever   (03.12.11)
In the 50s the notes were all of different parts of Israel such as the Galilee & Negev. After that they had fictitious individuals who were symbols of what the new state was supposed to stand for like scientists and workers. Since then its all been politicians. How about a computer programer or a farmer etc. They are the people that built Israel not Yitzhak Rabin or poets. Individuals stand for their own achievements either political or artistic but fictitious characters represent the ordinary Israeli. Or lets have scenes of the country. Cities or places like the Galilee. Fictitious individuals and scenes of the country represent zionism and achievement. Getting rid of the politicians is a step in the right direction but time for a total change in direction.
