I've just been reading all the writings in this column, and leave with one conclusion ----- What a bunch of filthy ignorant, hateful people you are. There are a couple of half decent people here, but the most are spiteful and hateful against the lovely Jewish people. I have no idea what this common phrase means but seen it often enough on the write-ups*** Drink some Kool-Aid! coming from cheap uneducated people. I sympathize with fad egypt who means well. Take a lesson from him/her.

According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry web site, offers of assistance have come from many countries, including Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Iran, Kosovo, and Jordan, among others. Obviously the world press only mentions offers from the bigger countries at times like this. The Israeli press highlights Israel's offer, but it doesnt tell you about all the offers from other small countries.
36. this article is on Japan!!!

Guys, this is an article on Japan's disaster, can't you just once leave this "Jew-Arab" issue out? By reading comments on ynet, no matter what the article is about, I start thinking that both most Jews and Arabs are somehow sick. Do not get me wrong; I'm Jewish myself, but can't you simply discuss a topic without instantly relating it to the Arab-Israeli conflict? everywhere and everytime there are some pricks talking on whose country Israel is and so on.Maybe I'm not really familiar with the circumstances down there, and maybe it's absolutely normal, but to me it's just sick. Stick to the topic guys. Those people in Japan need every support they can get! Modern technology can be absolutely worthless in such cases, as we can see! Greetings from Munich

you are correct. No matter what happens in the world the folks on Ynet see it through special filters which convert everything into something to do with them and the ME conflict. When NZ had its earthquake recently and failed to invite a search team from Israel it was roundly condemned by some talkbackers here and nasty insults were thrown at NZers. The effect of this illness on the ability of Israelis to make friends in the wider world is something which Israeli psychologists should study, for it truly is a psychological disorder - born of paranoia, stress and persecution, presumeably

I'm a designer & inventor who's had devices in the works for six years to Facilitate Health Care in difficult situations. I've completed what I call the Survivor Sleeve, which, among other uses, can serve as a Medical Work Space in an envelope for triage, wound treatment, and even surgery. It protects the patient as a sanitary barrier, is low cost, lightweight compact--folds to the size of a sheet--transportable in large quantities, and suitable for use in Military Field Hospitals, Disaster Relief, and Remote Areas! It can give shelter from the environment to those in the open. Survivor "Envelope" can be manufactured quickly & cheaply at almost any bag factory in the world. I had hoped for more time, but the Earthquake in Japan ups the urgency factor and points out the necessity for these to be in the hands of medical relief workers at once. Please contact me to help get information to those with the facilities and know-how to get this device to those who need it.
