I've often heard them callled "a bunch of thugs" or "a bunch of fascists." Why don't you repent of this ugly behavior and learn to respect people who live in places you think should be Judenrein? If you're a sophisticated, modern person, why don't you start thinking about your assumptions? Does Judenrein really equal peace/ Did emptying Lebanon of Jewish soldiers, and Gaza of Jewish civilians and soldiers, bring peace?

The saddest response to this tragedy would be no response. Families bringing their small children into harms way should have their heads examined. The world gave the Jews land in '48 and the Jews took more in war. Without a compromise on our side, this war will continue. Even if you regard the settlers as colonists and somehow get over the difficulty of saying that it is immoral for Judeans to build houses in Judea, you are still in a morally difficult position. Where else in the world do leftists argue for using force to evict squatters? Where else does the left argue for ethnic cleansing of squatters as a way to resolve a conflict? Who else but the Palestinians are given a moral stamp of approval to evict a 20% ethnic minority in order to build an ethnically pure state? And even if you support this for Palestine, how can you say that there is no way Palestine can accept a 20% minority of Jews but that Israel must accept a 20% minority of Arabs? Also, please remind me of how peaceful things were before 1967 and how accepted Israel was by the Arab world, I seem to have forgotten these historical facts. Also, exactly when did Israel and the Arabs sign an agreement that the 1949 cease fire line constitutes a border?

They were rejoicing that Hamas would know what the Israelis experienced over many years. 2. Israel has already proved it is willing to withdraw if there is peace. Remember Yamit? But you are right in that this is off the table; they withdrew from Gaza and got Hamas, from Lebanon and got Hezbollah. No more. There will be no Pal State with 1948 armistice lines as borders. 3. " against the Oslo accords, and international law" This is always repeated but when one actually reads the law, Israel does not run foul of it. What about Abbas agreeing to stop anti-semitic education in the Pal schools, and in the end not doing anything about it? 4. The closer the Pals come to a peace treaty, the more they push away. Arafat came close and began intifada. Abbas came closer, and all of a sudden he is trying the unlateral route. Add to that a refusal to agree to no further demands after a peace deal. 5. On and on and on...
