YN: Ynet STOP YOUR HYPOCRISY and anti-Semitic RACISM If you can publish photos of terrorists who were killed (even though most of the photos are outdated or photo-shopped) there is no reason you should not publish photos of the bloody massacre from Arab terrorists. This is supposedly a Jewish site geared for Jews. So stop your hypocrisy and racism and show us the photos, not the cleaned up room that could have been taken from anyone's home.
2. Divine intervention??
Emanuel ,   Rehovot   (03.13.11)
Calling a divine intervention would mean that from one side G-d saved a family from the other it left 3 children being butchered by those animals. I find this concept disturbing..Thank your good luck and let G-d to avenge the blood..
3. Miracle in Itamar:Chai family escapes murder
Paula ,   Cape Town South Afri   (03.13.11)
Such insensitivity would be hard to come by. I found it quite sickening to read the response from these people in the article implying that they received a miracle but the Fogel family did not. Come on people - think of others before making such hurtful statements - there are no words for such selfishness and tactlessness. You ought to feel ashamed of yourselves as we are.
4. HOW DARE YOU CALL IT A 'MIRACLE'???
Flavio ,   Sao Paulo   (03.13.11)
5 people were brutally slaughtered and it does not matter a bit if they were from family A instead of family B!!! Had this attack been prevented in time and at all, then and only then it would have been a miracle!!!
5. #1 Your Wrong
(03.13.11)
Im Jewish and Israeli and don't think the pictures should be shown. I'll explain why. The world doesn't care first of all, the massacre hasn't even been reported in the major news abroad. The bbc covered it only on their website and implied that it is the settlers fault for provoking arabs by settling "their land". Publishing the images will cheapen the memory of the victims. The Jihadis will put it on their websites and give out even more sweets. Whilst the funeral has been going in Israel in Rafah they are having a party handing out sweets! Out of respect for the slain we must respect their memories. The world can make up their own opinion.
6. My deepest sympathy to the victimes' family

As a suggestion: every house should own, as a protective measure, a police-dog trained for these types of terrorists attacks

Having a dog is a major responsibility You must feed, walk and care for a dog, if the dog is too hyper, he may bite people that aren’t a danger to you and yours A much simpler solution is to have a re-enforced Pladelet or Rav Bareach door, which are very difficult to force open and Srogim (bars) on the windows The worst part is when the dog comes to the end of his days; you will mourn him as if he were a child. .I know from experience
8. # 5, I wish you signed your name...
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.13.11)
However you are absolutely right in your analysis of why it is wrong to publish the photos. The world just does not f---ing care! Why give the arabs another opportunity to rejoice? We know already they are animals and do not belong within the human race. My friend in Israel sent me by email the link of the photos and I politely replied to her by saying that I am already sick to my stomach for what happened and don't need to see an entire family (man, woman, children and baby) butchered; therefore I declined looking at the link. This is enough to give anyone --- human that is --- nightmares. I totally agree with # 3, Paula and # 4, Flavio. This was no miracle at all!!!
9. #5. nameless: Then why is Yad Vashem?
Thomas ,   EU   (03.14.11)
People are visiting Holocaust Museums and those images are shown on the web. So what is your point to show those victims and hide these ones? Your argument is full of hot air; -do you have an agenda? Publishing Jews murdered long time ago are decent, those who were killed yesterday is "cheapening'? Arutz Sheva doesn't have this convoluted mindset and printed the "Truth"!'
10. This is why they should not be printed

When has exposure not led to over exposure? What happens when we see trauma once? A thousand times? After a thousand times seeing trauma what happens? You become desensitized. Now consider that the world is filled up to the gills with murders, wars, earthquakes, nuclear meltdowns and then cycle back through Arab uprisings, the constant pressure to do something to help somewhere and feeling a sense of futility because everything falling apart and the economy sucks. So then throw on the heap the critical thinking skills required to sort out an ongoing conflict where no agreement has mattered in 62 years and it is extremely doubtful it will be solved within our lifetimes, and to discern why it should matter that "settlers" were murdered. Listen folks, there are thousands of murders in America each year, averaging 45 per day across the country. 45. The inability of people to absorb more murder and in particular, a murder in another country in a conflicted area most Americans could not find on a map without taking a few moments. People who ARE interested mostly likely base that interest on a connection to the area, therefore their opinions are formed before they read wire stories out of any mideast source. Ultimately these photos serve no other purpose than to satisfy one element of the righteous outrage of the people of Israel. That element should not be fed and in fact, harms the memories of the slain.

Pam ,   USA   (03.14.11)
I'm glad you and the other couples are still alive. I do thank G-d your lives were spared. The terrorist intended to kill you and wasn't successful-- and he might have planned to go from your house to the Fogles if possible, making an even greater tragedy for Itamar and for Israel and those who love Israel everywhere. I'm praying for the peace of Jerusalem and Itamar and the rest of Israel-- and I'm thankful that you and the others who planned to come were not at the house that evening. May the Holy One bring comfort and hope to all Israel and especially to the surviving members of the Fogel family.
12. ah... there they "broke in"...
eporue ,   europe   (03.14.11)
at the fogels, they searched for an open window... at the chai's they searched all rooms, at the fogels (luckily) not... ...the fence-jumpers...
13. Fogel Family Murder
Gordon ,   Vancouver, Canada   (03.14.11)
Well, at the very least, this shows how when things don't go as we plan, and we feel upset by that, that instead we should think that God may have averted a catastrophe in our own lives because of that change in plan. We must put our trust in God in all things.

I must have missed it, were you trying to say something ??
15. #s 5 and 10, This Is Why The Photos Should Be Shown
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (03.14.11)
I too am an Israeli and a Jew... The photos should be shown because: 1. the family wants them shown 2. people all over the world must know what is going on here 3. for the extent of the barbarity one picture is worth 1000 words 4. there are plenty of people in the world who care but don't know the truth about what is going on here 5. the Jews have a long history of being slaughtered and martyred and publicizing and recalling this is part of our national and religious heritage 6. timing is everything: too little was done before and during WWII to publicize the plight of the Jews--even many Jews themselves did not believe that things were that bad, and look what happened 7. the lies and doubletalk of the Palis and their suppliers must be exposed for what they are; already posts are popping up on websites claiming that these murders were committed by Israeli Jews...need I say more
16. Interesting...
Mosh ,   MX   (03.16.11)
According to PA-controlled media the late Mr. Fogel "refused to pay a debt to his employee, a foreign worker who might have killed the family in return..." so, the Chai family also "refused to pay" or what the frack will Paliwood produce next?
