Without any objection from Israel or Jewish organizations. http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2009/note6230.doc.htm
2. Movie
northwoods ,   0rlando USA   (03.13.11)
Can't wait to see it. Anything Israel hates must be truer than the ridiculous propganda Israel puts out. Times they are a changing.
3. We are loosing information war
Mark ,   J-lem   (03.13.11)
At every front. The enemy is known, his agenda is obvious, yet nothing done so far to prevent it. I am asking government, are you doing anything at all?
4. The UN once again puts it's hatred of the
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (03.13.11)
Jewish state on display. This dirt film is worthless garbage...
5. To Carla, at #1
Oscar ,   Fort Worth/USA   (03.13.11)
Carla, please read your own link The movie you mention was a documentary and not a feature The UN general assembly (without embly) has two main roles:1. To be a critic of Israel and 2. To care less about what happens in the REST OF THE WORLD, even it involves murder, rape...It is not unpleasant to the UN that until the recent events Libya had a seat in the human rights committee.
6. Hmmm...
Langston ,   U.S.   (03.13.11)
Political movie -or- Documentary film Which should the UN be spending time on...?
7. The world changed a long time time ago
seadog1946 ,   ArthurKill, NJ   (03.13.11)
when the the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was no longer the sole source of MiddleEas/Levantine news... Israel should hire more hasbara bloggers.
8. #1 Showing a holocaust film doesnt hurt anyone
Omri ,   Israel   (03.13.11)
Its even important for them to do so because of the large Holocaust denying public out there. On the other hand, showing this movie clearly demonizes Israel and helps make way for more and more actions that would be normally unacceptable to do to any UN country. In this pace Israel would be kicked out of the UN in a few years... Yep that's how it goes, the more you convience people that Israel isn't a country of people but of demons the more you can act against it. The exact same strategy used in europe not to long ago...
9. UN screening movie
Suzanne   (03.13.11)
Shouldn't they be more worried about Japan in need e.g. than screening a movie?
10. When will Israel learn that propaganda is what killed 6 mill
rachel ,   usa   (03.13.11)
million jews during world war 2? How about a good movie about the Arab propaganda and pallywood . The world needs to know the real history . With all the problems in the world , the UN is still constantly obsessed about Israel !!!!
11. Israel should show the pics of the Itamar massacre
Dan Kelso   (03.13.11)
Just do a google search of Three Year Old Stabbed in the Heart, Baby's Throat Slashed. You will then see the pics that Richard Falk, Peace Now, Shulamit Aloni, Uri Averny dont want the world to see. You will see what animals these Palestinians are. I take that back. Thats giving animals a bad name.
12. What do you expect, it's the same UN who made it legal to
(03.13.11)
kill gay people just a few months ago. (don't believe me? look it up) People use the UN to ram israel? the UN will fall before israel does.
13. Israel protests UN screening of 'anti-Israel' film
split ,   US   (03.13.11)
Great promo and free,...
14. showing this movie hurts no one either
rana saleh ,   oshawa   (03.13.11)
well if its just a movie and not a documentary than it will hurt no one
15. Why don't they screen the murdered
Silkey ,   Denmark   (03.13.11)
and bloodied bodies of 5 innocent members of one family at the UN. All these movies are tear jerkers to solicit our pity. After Itamar, I have no pity….. Instead of moaning their "plight" why don't they get off their backside and make a better life for their own people, like the Israelis did. No PITY!!!
16. haha is it anti-israel to show IDF soldiers in action?
James ,   UK, Bristol   (03.14.11)
please.
17. This Vanessa REDGRAVE old rag..
Morris ,   Clichy, France   (03.14.11)
Even LE MONDE, a French left-wing pro-Arab newspaper said it is trash ! So it must portray the Palestinians in not such a good light. Still, it must be wonderful to see Vanessa REDGRAVE, that old rag. All she can get now is trash jobs. Poor girl...
18. In one day
Shmuel ,   Au   (03.14.11)
We have had attacks on the Palestinians for incitement. Attacks on BBC and CNN for not reporting in a style approved by the Israeli Government Attacks on the UN for the use of its facility for screening a film that does not show Israel in a good light. On top Israel in the face of the worldwide opposition announces further construction in the illegal settlement. If you asked lunatics at an asylum to make it up they could not do it. Israel may think its a western democracy but frankly it appears only one side of its brain is functioning. Delegitimiseation is totally self inflicted
19. Julian is not Jewish
Ron ,   OC, US   (03.14.11)
Perhaps he was at one time, but with this movie he can no longer claim to be a Jew. Not so much a Fatwa demanding his death. Just an appeal for him to wear a crescent. I don't think that he is worthy of the cross either.
20. Move the UN
Max ,   Washington DC   (03.14.11)
The UN should be expelled from New York City for its anti-Jewish agenda!
21. Arabs control the UN - so what's new about that?
(03.14.11)
With so many arabs working at the UN - and I mean not only "delegates", with the likes of Syria, Libya and almost Iran being members of the Human Rights Committee and also heading it, what did you expect. Most of the journalists squatting at the UN, many employees ranging from the IT department, communications, planning and lobying, are Arab or Muslim. UN is nothing but a farce. An anti-semitic movie being screened at the UN is exactly like the blood libels screened in Arab countries during the Ramadan (and after and before the Ramadan for good measure). It's just another racist piece screened in front of a racist and hateful audience.
22. Wisdom
Jim ,   Waldo,USA   (03.14.11)
Israel is the apple of God's eye, it is a very serious thing to speak evil of those God loves.
23. Others
Jim ,   Waldo,USA   (03.14.11)
I agree wholeheartly, what is going to be done about Japan by the UN?
24. OK
Jim ,   Waldo,USA   (03.14.11)
I just want to give an AMEN to that
25. Whine
Dale ,   Spanaway, USA   (03.14.11)
Whine, whine, whine, and whine some more. Its just a movie, grow up.
26. anti-Israel Film
George Brown ,   New York   (03.14.11)
Saw trailer of said film in a bastion of the extreme-left (mostly jewish). Jewish traitors must be held accountable BEFORE others. One MUST break a few eggs to make an omelette.
27. Equal Time
Steve Kohn ,   Raaanana   (03.14.11)
How about a slide show of real events--bus bombings, slaughter at Itamar, bombings at malls etc.
28. UN = the Arab League
(03.14.11)
Arabs control the UN Arabs control the media Arabs control the Oil Arabs control the Banks Arabs own most of the real estate ... this must be the Jews' fault!
29. @Carla - Holocaust more than Jews
Jonathan ,   USA   (03.14.11)
That's quite an ignorant statement. Not just Jews were mass-murdered in the holocaust. Millions of non Jews were slaughtered in concentration camps too. Plus that is a historical piece of fact, not a fictional and politically motivated apparatus. Everyone knows the UN is anti-Israel. They would not lift a finger if she was invaded and the people machine-gunned in the streets. They will however go wild and call for ceasefires if Israel defends against Hezbollah or Gaza's rocket fire. Organizations that specifically set out to target murder as many civilians as they can.
30. # 18 In one day
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (03.14.11)
