I noticed that besides the news covering of Japan and Libya, there was silence on this murder until there was an announcement by Israel that building houses was permitted. In other words: in many media outlets its worse to build houses, than to kill a family among which 3 children. And that is despicable.

After a day or so the murder story was added to or replaced by a story about settlement building. But neither story, the murders nor the building , got into the list of top ten most-read stories. Here is what people were reading:: On Fox News, people were reading about the USA , celebs gossip and how to lose weight. On the Guardian people were reading about Japan and football results. On the BBC about Japan. Libya no fly zone, a NYC bus crash and German anti-nuclear protests.
