The university course I once helped teach was called the ARAB-Israeli Conflict, not the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. But then Israel's adversaries, after losing several wars to "David", rejiggered the narrative as if the 20 Arab countries were of no significance and it was all about an Israeli Goliath confronting the poor, suffering "oppressed" Palestinians, the new David. Some of us have been around long enough to have witnessed this change in narrative in real time. As long as Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, et.al. involve themselves in this matter, it's still the ARAB-Israeli conflict. And the Palestinians, with the Arab League, the OIC, the UN, and the EU in their corner are no Davids.

You see, investigations are made to uncover the truth, not support your pre-determined accusation of guilt. By the way, many people pass through the checkpoints without an issue everyday, except for the stupid few who either carry a weapon or ignore IDF soldiers' commands. Exactly how is that poor choice of action, during daylight hours, at a checkpoint equivalent with a family who was slaughtered in theirs beds as they slept - none being soldiers or armed?

We triumphed over the murderous Arabs who were higher in number and more heavily armed/trained than us....several times I might add. The investigations, both Israeli and global, have shown Kana was a huge mistake and not a deliberate act to target civilians....as your terrorist have done and continue to do globally. Second, the hit on the UN building in Lebanon again was a mistake but brought on by Hizbullah rocket fire from RIGHT NEXT TO the UN building. In other words - Hizbullah committed a war crime by using the UN as a human shield. A Canadian soldier's e-mail noted all of this up to the moment they were hit, and was used as evidence to condemn Hizbullah and exonerate the IDF. Finally, women and children....let's talk about how many of them were forced BACK into S. Lebanon by Hizbullah when they tried to run away. How many had rockets and bunkers UNDER their homes, or fired from their court yards, using them as human shields. Sadly, they learned how the Geneva Convention takes away their protection once terrorists use them as such. How about Hamas picking up kids off the street to shield themselves during Cast Lead? Saddam used human shields to surround his palaces. Most Arab leaders and despots do the same thing routinely. Hell, the flotillas use human shields to protect those who are aiding terrorists and were armed, as we saw with the Mavi Marmara. And all the Itamar family was doing was....sleeping...and being Jewish. They weren't armed. There were no IDF base specifically there that was targeted. And there was not action of war. Hence, the big disregard for human life by Arabs....for Jews or their own.

The fact is Hezbollah was using the UN post as an attack launch site. In the second Lebanon War Israel confiscated the UN computers finding indisputable proof the the UN was giving Hezbollah "real time": information of IDF troop movements to Hezbollah. So frankly, the UN got what it deserved for not staying neutral and allowing themselves to be used as spies and attack positions. LOOK IT UP. Hate to tell you this, civilians die in wars, and Hezbollah started them, so blame the instigators, NOT the people who fought in self defense. CASE CLOSED

that israel is always put in a bad light, by the media and pal. for whatever reason. so when a news event happens...such as this which is totally out of the normal conflict and in the favour of israel , we need to shout about it.
