Most of say just the exact opposite. Attempting to make peace with your enemies is the exact same as appeasement. Neither works. You can only make peace with former enemies. The Arabs aren't former enemies, they are active enemies. So the short answer is no do not talk to them.

Haber is correct that Israelis need to sit down and make peace with the Palestinian people, however Haber seems to selectively reference Palestinian attacks on Israelis. Haber fails to mention the many israeli attacks against Palestinian civilians.

We need to denounce all violence, not just when it is against our own. We need speak out against the murders of Israelis in Itamar and the murders of Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. If we only show outrage when it is one of our own, the outrage is unprincipled and not moral. It is political and exploitive. Look at the overwhelming replies to this article. Jewish people in Israel or other countries do not want peace. They want their biblical kingdom restored. Of course once that is done it is time for Armageddon, but they have armed themselves for that already with their nuclear arsenal. Maybe they are trying to push God towards the rapture. It's hard to say but peace is obviously in none of the options they now contemplate.
