Thanks for your Talkback I quite agree..that logically there is no reason whatsoever in Iran and Israel being friends Like you I have many many Iranian friends in the UK The problem is one of the present Iranian leadership employing highly threatening and belligerent actions toward Israel such as the wholesale arming of Hezbollah, Hamas etc underpinned by their constant threats to Israels existence. Some Iranian friends have said to me that this is only harmless rhetoric designed to frighten Iranians into supporting the leadership but I say that as far as I am concerened as a Jew only one generation down from the worlds most horrific crime against humanity I make no excuses for being 'sensitive' to such behaviour and must support Israels efforts to protect itself at all costs against a repeat of the disaster of the Holocaust

Brazen   (03.18.11)
The international community has been trying to engage your Illegal iranian regime for to long, looks like time Ran out my friend. The solution I see is a religious one with the immams/mullahs and mufti's. your islamic doctrine includes LYING and SUBVERSION as part of futhering islam at all costs. Until there are NO More Fatwa's ,deligitimizing Israel, Desecrating The TEMPLE MOUNT and DENYING THE RICH HISTORY of the Hebrew/Jewish people and where they originate from; the connection to the middle east and more importantly Israel. Until then and ONLY then will their be a chance for dialoge?

42. #23 - and yet here you are...reading this "trash"
William ,   Israel   (03.18.11)
43. #23 - are you sure you know what a "bigot" is?
William ,   Israel   (03.18.11)
Or are you just so used to accusing people of it in the US, for either not like Obama's policies or expensive healthcare reform or bailing out corporations, etc, and have no idea what a bigot really is? No one here is calling A'jad names because of his ethnicity nor his religion. They all remark against A'jad because of his racist acts and constant support for terror. Why not educate yourself, libtard, instead of spewing baseless accusations because you disagree with someone. I'm sure millions of non-Shiites, including B'hais, and Iranian homosexuals, will appreciate your slight effort in recognizing the targeted racism THEY receive.
44. #27 - wasn't the Iranian plane issue an accident?
William ,   Israel   (03.18.11)
Many intl investigators looked at that incident and declared it an accident, except Iran. Perhaps Iranians just can't deal with the reality of their own complicity in crimes. yes, Iran took hostages, and tortured them, for 444 days! and Iran funded and armed Amal/Hizbullah to blow up US Marine barracks in Beirut killing over 200. and Iran still arms terrorist groups and radical shias around the world, from Morocco to Yemen to the Taliban. and finally, do not discount the many thousands of children the Mullahs cynically used to clear mine fields so that the Iranian army could hit Iraq. None of those were the fault of Iraq or the US - it was the fault of self-righteous leaders who used Islam as justification to kill the innocent.
45. I AM AFRAID THAT IS NOT.....................#19
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (03.18.11)
True,Sarah.Iranians have never claimed on having ICBM's three years back.Where did you fancy having read that.Whilst you get away with your own suggestions with most of the readers, you are known to have suggested few things in the past which have not occured, giving out statistics on Iran which have never been published in an independent media and the rest. However, by indulging in useless talk-back,you must be aware that Iran has achieved quite a good success in this area which, once again, has been acknowledged by authentic people known to have knowledge on the subject YOU claim to know better. The rocket carried the weight and this demonstration is in itself a success. You may not like it,but there is very little you can do except to pass your time in writing some more crap.Carry on,we actually enjoy it.
46. Where's Mahmood?
Hal ,   Usa   (03.18.11)
I was worried that maybe Mahmood had a "work accident" at his summer camp in Wasiristan. I am truely relieved to see he is a pivotal figure in the Iranian space program. Bon Voyage Mahmood!!!!!!!
47. IN FACT WE MISSED YOU,HAL...............#46
MAHMOOD ,   lLONDON-UK   (03.18.11)
As we have not been heraring from your side for more than a month. The fact that you are back relieves me of the anxiety you caused.May be the sale of doughnuts could have kept you busy looking for dollars as we understand the state of your economy.Poor you!

49. To: No. 45
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.18.11)
Oh, we've always known Iran's claims were entirely spurious. We remember the photoshopped pictures (badly photoshopped, at that!). How's the big turbine at Bushehr? I hear the rods haven't been loaded back into the reactor. Gee, whatever is the matter? Didn't Iran say that it was for "routine maintenance?" That was a month ago, Mahmood. "Routine maintenance" doesn't take a month. Speaking of, though, I hear that Natanz is still offline, too. Gosh, what could be the matter with those wonderful, top-of-the-line second and third generation centrifuges invented in Iran? What is wreaking havoc in Iran's nuclear facilities? Made you eat your words, didn't I, sweet cheeks? Made you choke on them, in fact. Here's a news flash: Bushehr and Natanz are NEVER going to go on line.
50. To: No. 47
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.18.11)
See how hard you laugh when the U.S. calls in all its Notes to the U.K. The interest-bearing Marshall Plan loans have never been forgiven, you see. They've only been deferred almost pro forma by every Congress for over sixty years. What will the U.K. do should the U.S. Congress some day decide NOT to defer loan repayment any longer? Hmmm?
51. To: No. 27
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.18.11)
Hey Mohammad, Try several hundred hostages. And may I take your dismissive comment to mean that YOU wouldn't mind being held hostage and tortured, beaten and starved for a few years? The Iranian airplane did not identify itself as a civilian carrier after repeated requests; that is why it was shot down. Compensation was paid to the families of the victims and the United States extended a formal apology. Iran has not paid compensation to the United States for damage to the United States Embassy in Teheran, nor has it paid compensation to the hostages that were beaten and tortured and illegally detained for many years. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Following Iran's invasion of the United States Embassy, Iraq became a "friend." Sorry, that's just how Middle Eastern politics is played (expect for Israel, of course, which has no choice but to view all Arab and Islamic nations as enemies). As a Jew It is a little hard, Mohammad, to be tolerant of the Islamic Republic and the unending, vile sturm-und-drang rhetoric that emanates from Teheran. As an Israeli, it is a little hard to be tolerant of a country that swears itself committed to "wiping Israel from the map." Believe it or not, I have many Iranian friends, quite a few of them Moslem (and one Zoroastrian), who are sick and tired of the repressive and autocratic rule of the mullahs, the numerous injustices that are perpetrated in Iran on a daily basis, the ruthlessness of Sharia law. I have long believed that the only mistake the Shah made was that he tried to push Iran into the twentieth century a little too quickly. But as bloody as the Savak was, the fact remains that within one year, the Ayatollah Khomeini (may his name be cursed throughout eternity) was responsible for the deaths of more Iranians than were killed by Savak throughout the entire reign of the Shah. The current regime -- which is a state sponsor of terror in contravention of all known international convention and statute; which funds terrorist organizations (using funds that should be spent to better the lives of the Iranian people) -- has to go, Mohammad. I truly believe that most reasonable and educated Iranians are sick to death of the tyrannical regime and would like nothing better than to see it replaced. Perhaps then we can be friends. Until then, I'm afraid not. The U.S. does not wish to be "friends" with a nation that calls it the "Great Satan," and Israel does not wish to be "friends" with a nation that is determined to "wipe Israel from the map."
52. to Salma 36
john Darren ,   Cairns-Australia   (03.19.11)
You would have been a better choice-sitting next to the monkey doll. You could talk to the monkey doll all day long without any interruptions .
53. Sarah - You forgot this big one
David Berlew ,   Sun Valley USA   (03.19.11)
The Iranian Mullahs hired Ahmed Jibril in Damascus to be a broker and find someone to bring down a United States jet in revenge for the Iranian Airbus..Ahmed Jibril hired the Libyans and they put the bomb on the jet . Mossad was following the bombers and told the German Police where they were and arrested them and then they freed them ..Most of the operational planning was done when the terrorists were in their haven in Stockholm, Sweden. The Germans have a very poor record of helping Israel just like the Israeli athletes in Munich who were slaughtered because the Germans cannot shoot straight.
54. and that isn't a monkey or a doll, a bomb maybe
Ypip ,   Canada   (03.19.11)

Howard Immanuelson ,   US   (03.19.11)
Actually, you're the one that needs to speak for yourself. Making ridiculous assertions just makes you look foolish.
56. LOL, #47
Howard Immanuelson ,   US   (03.19.11)
Ummm, Mahmood, are you truly so uneducated that you don't realize that the UK is teetering on the edge of going broke itself?
57. # 47 Mahmood, our man in London
Hal ,   Usa   (03.19.11)
You devil, you never let on that you were so involved in the Iranian space program! I have totally missed the potential you posess beyond the the pizza kitchen. Mahmood, why do you always speak of "we"? Are there more than one of you? Also, I am not sure what anxiety I have caused you, but if exposing you as a simple pizza mechanic with a juvenile propensity to political hyperbole, I too am relieved. Doughnuts my poor illinformed Mahmood are certainly not part of my rather healthy diet, however, there is always a place for a great slice of pizza pie. Great to see that you are back safe and sound from summer camp in Wasiristan. I was truely concerned for your welfare Mahmood, but not anxiety ridden. :-)
