After they 'milked the memory of Anna Frank and there is nothing more to squeeze.....now they come up with a 'new exhibition in memory of Margot Frank, meaning another few decades of good money coming in. All this after the 'public theater of the "taking down of the 'Anna Frank Tree (the tree Anne saw from her window and had to be taken down). Pity only that in todays Holland many people AGAIN would love to send the Jews to the same place where they helped to send Anne, Margot & her parents and all the other 110.000Jews.

During WW2, Russian women fought alongside the men on the frontline against the Nazis. Many of them died in doing so. They are the real heroes. They did not hide in the attics.

Good thing we Americans decided to fight in "their wars" namely WWII in order to save Europe from fascism. "Russion women fought alongside men on the frontline and many died" For your information, Jewish women didn't 'get to the frontline (neither did the men) for they were 'rounded up in the middle of the night (usually with the help of local police) and send to concentration camps in Poland to be gassed. Despite all that, maybe you don't know, but there 'were Jewish men & woman fighting (usually in the Underground, there were the Jewish Partizans and the Jewish Brigade fighting together with the British Army, in the Getto's in Poland they were fighting alongside the man standing up to the Nazi's). So your sneering comment about "hiding in the attick" is absolute out of place!

Congratulations. Your ignorance and prejudice have no limit. As a proud member of a family of Jewish men and women who fought in the WWII I can tell you tales of bravery, tragic losses, POW camps, and victorious returns with minor injuries like lost limbs and such. The younger members were evacuated to Soviet Asis, not because they were Jewish, but because all Soviet people who could did that. Some didn't have time to run, and suffered and died tragically, Jews or not, at the hands of vicious German Nazis. You should rent a few Soviet era movies about WWII to understand.

If the Frank family would not have hidden in the attic they would have been taken to a concentration camp, used as slaves for labour & ultimatley exterminated. The attic provided 2 years of safety for the family until they were arrested & carted off to their deaths.. Anna & her sister Margot were teenagers, too young to fight alongside men on the frontline, dont you think ??
