i was hoping they would open a sephora in tel aviv!

I could not find makeup at Sephora in L.A. without carmine and ended up buying natural products at the Aveda store. Carmine (argaman in Hebrew?) is made from beetle eggs and wings and is in ALL commercial makeup except for a few natural or vegan brands. I suppose the amount of carmine is tiny enough to make the products kosher, but I still don't want crushed insects on my eyes and lips. Among other things, carmine is an allergen.

Sephora is my favorite store. It sells the best cosmetics! I would be the happiest girl ever if they opened up a sephora here in Israel. It is the best makeup store of all time.
