Cynthia ,   USA   (03.23.11)
What a loser! His own party calls for his resignation yet they must have known his sentiment before he blurted out the Holocaust denial.

67. "I live in norway"
There is NO Santa Cl ,   North Pole, Alaska   (03.23.11)
There's indeed a lot of anti-Semitic expression in Norway; especially about BDS. Yet for all that, the Israeli MFA reports that Israeli exports to Norway keep growing every year. Go figure!

We meant well when we addressed you on this board. There is no "arbiter of history" on this board and if there was someone who claimed to be such arbiter, he/she would be laughed off. Also, we are not speaking of any action outside of our own, an expression of which is this pounding on a keyboard, nothing more. My uncle K, z"l, survived Auschwitz after witnessing the loss of his wife and children. He never overcame the pain and blamed himself for living while they died. K lived for many years after the Shoah, but he was without hope, the greatest pessimist on earth in my opinion. He always envisioned a tragic end to everything he witnessed in life. You appear to be K's reincarnation, stuck in the past and crying for crimes of history against Jews. Really, you have no good reasons for it, so please get out from the dungeon of your pessimism, un-stuck yourself for your own good.

70. the world today
Em ,   uk   (03.23.11)
if there can be holocaust denial today when there are still survivors then think how much worse it will be when they will no longer be here to tell their stories...the reality in less then 10 years or so...

Norway is full of Quislings.
73. He's not a Norwegian by ethnicity, he's a Sami.
Heidi Hanssen ,   Oslo, Norway   (03.24.11)
and he's also not a lawmaker, as he's not in the Government. He's a sort of representative in the Government for the Sami people far north, where they decide about reindeers and other "important" stuff. We are many in Norway who support Israel and we love the Jewish people. We are with you! And I fight for Israel in many ways every day!! Am Yisrael Chai!

David ,   London UK   (03.24.11)
Dear Kirste If this anti-semite is so insignificant in Norway why does Norwegian media reoport such inflamatory declarations ? Would they report verbal attacks on Norwegian Moslems in such a way? Somethingis very wrong in your country today.
75. To put a few things straight.
P.C. ,   Trondheim, Norway   (03.25.11)
He's not a member of the parliament of Norway, but the "Sami-peoples assembly" This is a poeple assembly for the members of this native group. Secondly, it was shown he had not been a paying member of his "party" for years, so they could not expel him as they wanted. And as all elected officials in Norway is elected as persons not representatives for a party, that means he needs to resign himself, no-one except the voters can forcefully eject him.

I am English and share your doubts. Our media is controlled by the BBC whose left-wing anti-Israel (at all times) agenda has now become the accepted truth. I find it shocking as I automatically don't trust the BBC and find real truth elsewhere. I love England but I am wondering where this England went, it's not the same place it used to be - it's definitely a lot worse. I see there are other Norwegians responding to this with the same sadness as you. At least you know you are not alone.

sweeter than honey ,   far away   (03.25.11)
was the standard german infantry rifle from 1935 on, and post ww2 stocks were used by the norwegian and israeli military up to the 1970's, whether bought, liberated, black market etc., from post ww2 stocks is another story. both countries armourers betimes adapted to standard nato calibre. the difference betwen the israeli and norwegians is that israeli armourers removed the swastika die stamp near the serial number, the norwegians did not think that appropriate. the article points not to the left or right wing in norway, not to norwegian or sami people, but to the norwegian establishment.
78. come on people take action
levi weissman ,   albany ny   (03.26.11)
this issue is quickly reaching the put up or shut up point, if there is a list of 6 million names they should be posted on the internet, if their is a picture of a gas chamber post it, if no hard evidence survives then post that , but this issue is becoming embarrassing to all of us, this man is calling publically for proof in a major newspaper!!! and we sit here posting all sorts of condemnations of norway, antisemitism, and his rank in parliament, but no one links to actual proof that could be used to end this holocaust denial once and for all!! just saying its obvious or everybody knows comes across as dubious to skeptics
