The problem is not where kids play, but rather why terrorists choose to launch attacks against Israel while hiding behind children. Israel returns fire to the location from where the mortar shells and/or Qassams were launched. Easy enough to figure out the location from where the attack was launched using simple triangulation. but it does justify Israel's response per the Geneva Convention which rescinds protection of civilian areas and infrastructure if used in attacks....it's only the West's and Israel's restraint and desire NOT to kill civilians that drives Hamas, Hizbullah, Gaddafi, etc. to hide behind them.

Israel and it's apologists blame Hamas for "hiding behind civilians", There is precious little evidence for it. Also that claim would only make any sense if Israel then would refrain from shelling civilian neighbourhoods, which it clearly does not. Projection is a psychological defense mechanism associated with denial of responsibility for one's actions. It is very much at play here. Israeli soldiers have used Palestinian civilians so often as human shields, that this practice has become known as the "neighbour procedure". It shows that these soldiers assume safely that Palestinians don't shoot their own people. Israel has demonstrated overwhelmingly that it is prepared to expose Palestinian civilians to great danger, resulting in the death of innocents. "Sabra and Shatila" is a horrible example of that. Another one is the dropping of a one ton bomb on an appartment building in a residential area of Gaza City, which aimed to kill one Hamas member, but ended up killing 14 innocent civilians, among them children. It is not nice to look at yourself in the mirror and conclude you are a bully, a thug and a terrorist. Better then to deny and project, as many Talkbackers here are doing.

I do understand why your attention span has taken a beating. Having to read about the deaths of Palestinians on a daily basis must bore any right wing Israeli to tears. That pretty much describes Hamas. And it's well documented that Hamas fires kassam rockets from civilian locations at Israel. Hezbollah did the same in 2006. If the Palestinians are so concerned about their children, why do they provoke Israel with these rocket and bomb attacks? Is Hamas performing for their Iranian masters? Are they trotting out their one sided dog and pony show with photos of IDF response which you salivate over for world sympathy and funding? Aside from your usual and customery cliche brigade, you overlook the fact that without provocation, Hamas fired over 50 kassam rockets and bombs at Israeli civilian communities since last weekend. Palestinians indirectly cause the death of their own people through irresponsible terror attacks against Israel.

I'll follow-up when you post the link to make sure you're not taking his statements out of context. Then tell us how many kassam rockets, grad bombs and homicide bombs the Palestinians used to terrorize Israel during the second intifada. Hint: Thousands directed at Israeli men, women and children. Also include stabbings, ambush shootings, kidnappings, bomb attacks on buses, commercial sites and border crossings. Israelis have a right to defend themselves. Even if your stint with the Marines was short lived, you should understand that.

There is an abundance of photographs and video's that show the Arabs using their kids as "Human Shields" of during both intifada's, so save the nonsense about "precious little evidence" as you incorrectly put it. There is OVERWHELMING evidence. In fact during operation :Cast Lead" Israel produced multiple video's of rocket fire coming from Residential neighborhoods. The IDF found weapons stored in house's, Hospital's, Schools, and Mosque's. There are video's showing Hamas attacking the IDF, then hopping fences to hide in a civilian home. They have been caught using Ambulances to transport weapons and fighters. I don't know what rock you sleep under, but there are photo's and video's for everything I just mentioned. But even that isn't enough for ignorant people like yourself, and to make such baseless remarks about no proof? There will never be enough proof for people like you, so I don't worry about nuts like you. I just want to make sure that those who may read your comments, know your remarks are proven lies.
