1. I wonder ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.24.11)
.... if the U.K. would have considered it a "disgusting act of terrorism" if Israelis were the only casualties. I hate to sound so jaded, but frankly -- if a citizen of the U.K. had not been killed in the bombing, we would only have heard a deafening silence from the U.K. They have ignored virtually every other terrorist bombing in Israel. What makes this one different is the fact that a British national was killed. When only Israelis die in terror attacks, the British manage to maintain their famously stiff upper lip.
2. UK hypocrite.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (03.24.11)
You know where you can shove your crappy wreath. Especially as a Jew, if you had any self-respect, you would quit & not be part of a gov't. that is so hostile to Israel.
3. British Ambassador to Israel
B.A. ,   Sweden   (03.24.11)
Pakka-pakka.. Bla, bla, bla...
4. I find it hard to believe the ambassador
David ,   Ashkelon   (03.24.11)
he says what he wants us to hear but in his homeland the British media, the British universities, the British Representatives couldn't care less about Israel and its battle against terrorism.England prefers the lies of the Palestinians,England marks Israeli goods as leper, boycott Israeli scholars, arrest Israeli officers, upgrade Palestinian Representatives, do not cover the anti-Semitic incidents against Israeli visitors in campuses (only recently a Palestinian man took a bite of an Israeli man's face). I wish the British woman would not have been killed. It's a tragedy for her family. She was a guest of Israel and was murdered by monsters. It's a shame that Israel failed to protect her. God rest that woman's soul. But England should make a serious soul searching about the way they treat Israel. In comparison to England's actions, the statements from the ambassador are not convincing.
5. all of you r so right that u r wrong!
Noa Mishael ,   Beersheva   (03.24.11)
On Purim the British Ambassador and the British Foreign Office issued a statement saying that the firing of missiles into the civilian Israeli population region was unacceptable particularly as it was occuring during the Jewish holiday of Purim. Go on then look it up!
6. To #5: You are right. Hague is a long time friend of Israel.
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (03.24.11)
Regrettably, PM Cameron is NOT! Remember Cameron's trip to Turkey? Also, don't forget that Cameron's coalition partner, the LibDems are notedly anti-semtic as is one of his Conservative Jewish MP's, Gerald Kaufman, a violent anti-Israel campaigner. Look that up and see his hatred of Israel on YouTube!
7. But they will welcome Arab leaders to the UK
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.24.11)
The same leaders that openly call for our genocide. Yet they are always welcome in the UK and our leaders are threatened with arrest for daring to defend ourselves.
8. That explains it.
AlexB ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.24.11)
I was pleasantly surprised to hear a stronger than usual condemnation of this terror attack by the British foreign secretary. Now I know the reason. The one person who died was a UK citizen. Please continue your condemnations in the same vein.
9. #5 Unacceptable?
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (03.24.11)
I suppose that's pretty strong language for the Brits. outrageous would have been a better description but then the British never get more than lukewarm in their condemnation of anything.
10. It's only a matter of time...
Gad ,   Israel   (03.24.11)
when islamic groups will attack british targets in the U.K. and across europe. Just then I want to hear the british anbassador says that the murdered people were "victims for peace".
11. DON'T TURN YOUR BACKS ON FRIENDS
Brant ,   Hilton Head USA   (03.24.11)
Dear People of israel: The British Ambassador was sincere. He'd have said the same if the woman had been an Israeli and not a British Gentile and, of course, great Britain will keep talking to Arabs; as should Israel. The vast, vast majority fo Israel delegitimation occurs in the left-leaning press (anyone read Amira Hass yesterday or Gideon Levy any day or Huffington but that's all just noise. Most of us out here know you are the good guys; most of us know that your punishing retaliations are just that, retaliations; most of us know that israel existed long before the Romans renamed it Palaestina even if Helen Thomas doesn't like it and most of us support your right to defend yourself. You just need to do it a little bit better and openly on the world stage and to hell with what Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad and Chavez and the narrow-minded ideologues of BDS bleat about.

Jennifer ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.24.11)
Who was this woman that was killed? Was she Jewish? Was she a missionary? It is highly unusual for a woman her age to be living in the dorm. at Hebrew U. Any answers?

18. What percentage...
Eran ,   Singapore   (03.25.11)
What percentage of the population would be untroubled by the death penalty for thes depraved terrorists?
19. #14 here's your answer
(03.25.11)
"Mary Gardner, the British woman killed in the Jerusalem bus bombing, was an evangelical Christian" the above from the Guardian. We may all read: evangelical Christian as missionary. Still I am sorry for her death and the loss to her family may they be comforted.
20. #18 a very large percentage! Israel doesnot....
Assaf Josef ,   Haifa   (03.25.11)
have the death penalty for "ordinary" crimes of this type. We are an ancient and enlightened nation. The only crime for which we have the death penalty is "Crimes Against Humanity". The death penalty was used once in 1962 in order to punish Adolf Eichmann. It is best that Israel doesn't have the death penalty as there are way to many of us who would want to use it for political reasons.
21. Dear Israelis.
David Boardman ,   Manchester   (03.25.11)
The British government has been trying to rid itself of its poor for centuries. Now they can no longer ship us of to Australia on prison boats they have a new tactic. They want to replace us with a multiracial mob. They have been importing Muslims for decades and now the number one name for new born babies in England is Mohammed. My people are being out bred by these third world savages. The politicians will always side with Muslims to ensure they receive there vote. They are not your friends. Dont ever trust them.
