I found it very strange that Canadians (or Americans) would vote for their national politicians based on their support for Israel. Whatever happened to the nation's best interests, not Israel's? Do you think Israeli's vote for whose best for Canada or America? I support the condemnations against rocket attacks. For instance in air to air combat, The Arabs lost 334 jet fighters, Israel only 5 fighters. Is that what you consider an "embarrassment"? For ever 1 Israeli Jet fighter the Arabs shot down, Israel shot down 67 Arab Jets, Hmmm, 67 to 1 ratio in Israel's favor. Son, you've got a lot to learn!! I'm sure Israel was real "embarrassed". In addition the Arabs lost another 180 aircraft to Israeli anti-aircraft batteries. In the end, they lost the war, as well! Nasser lied to King Hussein of Jordan. Falsely telling the King that Egypt was starting their aerial attack. So King Hussein started his Artillery attack against Israel. But G. Nasser had lied to the King, in fact the radar blips picked up by Jordaian Radar, were NOT Egyptian Jets attacking Israel. The were Israeli Jets coming back from a surprise attack, that wiped out the Egyptian Air Force on the ground. So Egypt couldn't provide the Air cover Egypt had promised the Jordanian army. Which left the Jordanian army open to Air Force attacks, without air cover the Jordanians got whipped. King Hussein NEVER forgave Gamal Nasser for lying to him, and never trusted him again, so Jordan sat out the 1973 War. It's funny how the truth gets in the way of your fantasies.

We don't vote for our politician because they support Israel. I will vote for conservative according my choice(don't like higher tax, believe in lower tax, employer hire more etc).
