1. Spoch al goyim?
Yored ,   Galuth   (04.12.11)
Is this text still in the edition or has it been substituted with something more human I can read without cursing my non-Jewish relatives?
2. A step in the wrong direction
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.12.11)
I would have prefered leaving the Hebrew and English on the same page. Separating them makes the connection with Hebrew more distant for those who only read English. "Out of sight, out of mind". Also, many people use both languages; some phrases are usually said in Hebrew even if English is the lingua franca at the seder table. This new layout forces you to search the Hebrew pages. I'll still use the old copy, thank you.
3. #1, why are your non-Jewish relatives at your seder?
Jake ,   USA   (04.12.11)
My father in law is non-Jewish. He didn't leave Egypt 4000 years ago, so he doesn't commemorate the event. What exactly bothers you? The word "goyim" (translation: nations) ? We, the Jewish people, are also a "goy", as in "goy echad ba'aretz" . There is nothing rude or insulting about the word "goy".
4. A Tradition of Boring Seders
David ,   Zichron Yaakov   (04.12.11)
These Haggadot are useful for people who "just want to get it over with".
5. Im happy
