SINCE ISRAEL HAS ALLOVED THIS ROCKET SHOTING FOR A WERY LONG TIME, THE WORLD ALSO ALLOWES IT. AND IF ISRAEL THEN RESORT TO SEVERE FORCE, THE WORLD COMUNITY WILL SAY IT IS DISPROPORTIONATE.. GO TO HELL THE HYPOCRITICALLY HOSTILE WORLD OPINION. ISRAEL IS A LOOSER TO LET THIS CONTINUE, AS HITHERETO. STRIKE AND EXTERMINATE THE ENEMYS MILITANTS, AND BEAT THE WORLD COMMUNITY AT THE SAME TIME. 6. Where did they get THAT from!?
Adele ,   Eshkol Region Israel   (03.26.11)
In the article it says :"The community that was hit is one of the four last communities in the Eshkol Regional Council that have yet to be installed with safe rooms.." I live here and I can count more than 4 communities without saferooms that are constantly in harm's way. Another thing that you never see mentioned: there is NO early warning alarm for mortars (which are what we, in the communities closest to the border are getting hit with now). They are more deadly than Kassams and the only way you know they are coming is after the first one lands. You just have to hope that THAT one doesn't land near you, so you have time to get someplace safe. We, thank God, got our safe rooms last May - and I have been sleeping in it since last Saturday.
7. An eye for an eye....
Adele ,   Eshkol region,Israel   (03.26.11)
....and a tooth for a tooth leaves everyone blind and toothless. More violence is NOT the answer. We can NOT solve this problem by "wiping out the enemy" - we can not kill all of the people in the Gaza Strip (nor should we). The only answer HAS to be political, and include financial and humanitarian aid to help our neighbors get on their feet, feed their children and live healthy, prosperous lives.
8. Barak sadly comical
Betty Boops ,   Canada   (03.26.11)
As long as Israel is doing what it is doing, then its civilians are going to keep taking hits. Unfortunately, Israel has become very soft over the last few years and now does nothing but shoot empty buildings and holes in the ground to thwart the enemy. The palestinians know this and so it will continue. It's very sad for the civilians to have to live with a government like this that really intends to do nothing.
9. Iran Syria activating gaza border,,
Dan Guralnek ,   Brisbane Australia   (03.26.11)
If the syrian regime fell it would be a significant setback for the axis of evil. I think they are heating up the gaza border for two reasons, firstly it takes international attention away from their own atrocities and secondly it could help bring their people under control and take pressure off government and direct peoples anger to their common enemy, Israel. I think a large scale operation in gaza at this time would be a big mistake. Why attack the foot soldier (gaza) when a little patience would see the commanders(Iran syria) implode by them selves. A better startegy would be low key targeted assasinations that don't attract too much attention and have proven to significantly reduce terror.
10. How many dead jews will it take
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (03.26.11)
for the government to take action? 10, 20, 30?
11. I don't get it. Is Qassam a natural phenomenon?
Messiah King Ofer   (03.26.11)
Do they just land on their own -- as the article's title says "Qassam lands" -- or is there a pilot? p.s. when the IDF strikes, the titles say "Israel attacks..."
12. #2 Israel won't use WMD on Gaza. Disappointed?

fire not stopped first by Israel-NATO joint bombing and clear Obhama action against palestinian aggressions and abuse of israeli civilian population.

15. Hamas continues to pummel Israel with rockets
Brod ,   USA   (03.26.11)
Hamas seems to know that so long as the wimpy Leftist Barak is Defense Minister of Israel, they can continue attacking Israel with impunity. It is time Bibi takes charge of his government by relieving Barak and appointing a strong Right Wing Defense Minister. And give Hamas a big 'bang' to neutralize them once and for all. Support and appoint the Gazan Democrats to form the new government in Gaza. Arm the new government so that they can provide security for their people against any remaining Hamas thugs and terrorists. Make it a one day operation by slicing the enclave into 4 pieces to neutralize Hamas terrorists and thugs and get the Gazan Democrats to take care of business in combing the terrorists and thugs after that. And help Gaza to have a thriving economy to make the people happy after the new Gazan government is in place.
