fish from the sea .......

Just three months ago, Japan said that Iran should develop Nuclear fuel, (read Nuclear bombs), so they, Japan could perhaps get a discount in Iranian petrol, and/or Iranian Contracts. Did not matter the contamination in the Middle East if those atom bombs went off. It was far away from them. Ironic, isn't it that Tokyo's water is now contaminated with Nuclear radiation. After Hiroshima, at least Japan should not have to see any nation suffer, and more so because there is money to be made.

of Japan and much of the world is contaminated from it. It only takes a tiny speck of plutonium breathed in to cause lung cancer.

No. High doses of plutonium cause radiation sickness -- which is lethal. Frankly, you will die long before cells have a chance to multiply crazily -- that's cancer. There has never been a case of cancer that has been conclusively proven to have been caused by plutonium. Besides, the Fukushima reactor used uranium, not plutonium. Stop misinforming people with your bullshit.

Well, I'm surprised you missed this Sarah, as usually you seem to have your facts together, but you dropped it big this time. The fuels rods are a MIX of plutonium-uranium, and from an American scientist, the plutonium is bomb grade left over from the Cold War. The sad fact is, this plutonium IS highly radioactive, breathing it CAN cause lung cancer, and it's half life is in the thousands of years!!! The planet can be destroyed very well from this, and that ain't no bullshit!!! Below is a quote I took from a news site that you can find yourself on the web: Two days later, the nearby building containing the plutonium-uranium (MOX) fueled Fuksuhima Daichii reactor unit 3 exploded. So why bother about the rubble of reactor No 1?
6. To: No. 4

Wrong. For starters, there are two distinct types of plutonium -- weapons grade and nuclear reactor grade. You can read about it here: http://www.eoearth.org/article/Plutonium Secondly, the Fukushima reactor uses neither. Sorry. That said, plutonium's risk comes from its toxicity; which causes radiation sickness. You can read about it here: http://www.nvmp.org/pluto4.htm Finally, you are correct that the Fukushima reactor No. 3 uses plutonium oxide (I did miss that; I thought all of them used uranium, which is more stable), but the risk is still that of radiation sickness, not cancer. Actually, radiation sickness will kill much more quickly and efficiently than cancer.

... should be addressed "To: No. 5." Apologies to all.
8. 5 Edward, Savannah, USA: Thank you for your information.

At least you understand the critical issue of this situation.
