Sinai Campaign (Egypt tried to strangle Israel), Fedayeen, Six-Day War, Yom Kippur War (Israel was almost defeated/annihilated), Lebanon 1&2, Cast Lead, etc.----all because of arab attacks and threats, all won by Israel. 12. Israel has EARNED it's right to stand as a nation with all territory now under it's control! I have been saying all this for years, and now am finding out that not everyone has been noting this (for me) obvious point.

Jack, If you'd bothered to follow up on your own asinine point, you'd find that DNA sampling of Jews HAS been done and unsurprisingly the DNA pointed to common ME ancestors. Then again, you seem to lost to your hatred and anti-Semitism so I'm sure you could never be convinced.

A huge DNA study was carried out by Ostrer et al 2010 and it was found that the DNA of Ashkenazi Jews (European) and Sephardic Jews (North African and Mideastern) were identified at a scientific level of sufficient significance to conclude that the two groups of Jews were related to one another.

The following are a few clarifications: 1) I agree that we can promote our connection to the land via history, law, etc, etc. However, at the end of the day it comes down to God and faith. There's a good chance things are going to get more difficult here in the coming years so unless you really believe that God gave us this land and that we’re here for a larger purpose it will be increasingly difficult to hold on. 2) Also, I'm not trying to convince the world with the "God argument" but rather trying to get my own people to wake up! We need to convince ourselves of our right to the land before we can convince the world. Obviously I welcome support from non-Jewish talk-backers and it's very, very appreciated but my main goal is to get my own people to start thinking. That's enough without all of the other facts showing this land belongs to the Jews. Throughout history that was enough for borders to change and countries established. Had Israel lost, the world would have been silent when the Arabs took over. Why is it different when the Jews win???

Pity we have already done thet DNA test. 70% of Jewish y-chromosomes are genetically identical to 50% of the Palestinian y-chromosome (having a genetic drift of 2000 or so years) with another 30% of the Palestinian y-chromosome being closely related ( having a 2500 year genetic separation indicated by drift). To put it simply, Both diaspora Jews and Palestinians are descendants of the ancient Israelites. It is written in their DNA. We are just to ignorant to grasp the significance. I suppose you will continue the fratricide. How sad. To review the actual data, google "Palestinian Jew y-chromosome" and search for research reported by Hebrew university. They did a broad genetic data acquisition years ago and have been crunching the numbers ever since. Some of the analysis discuss all kinds of different jewish and nonjewish groups. Please note that since the Palestinians were the population that stayed, they are related to a broader spectrum than any others. That is, the diaspora was taken from their genetic pool as were the lost tribes. Cool data but the results don't really support either sides story.

It's clear that the God of Israel gave the land to Jacob, took it away from Jacob, and will give it back to Jacob. It's been clear from the writings of the prophets for 1000's of years. Esau rejoiced over Jacob's calamity and the God of Israel will answer it upon their heads, as described by Obadiah. In doing so, he will bare the arm of his power in the eyes of all the nations!
